Juche is in fact the logical conclusion of Leninism. Marx argued nations had to be fully industrialized and self-sufficient before they could acheive Communism. Juche is a (failed) attempt to fulfill this prerequisite. How is Songun (military first) any different from Lenin's "War Communism"? Both attempt to organize the economy using militarist discipline.

How about an apples to apples comparison? Compare Cuba to Haiti, or China to India, or Vietnam to Cambodia. In each of those cases, the Marxist country has a greater Human Development Index. The Nordic countries, which have much greater state intervention in the economy, also have a higher standard of living than the USA.

2.) That is a strawman. My argument was that direct comparisons against the USA are invalid because they ignore the material and historical conditions of the countries involved. IF you want to be taken seriously, please make the argument that Haiti is a better place to live than Cuba, because it is capitalist, or that India is a better place to live than China.

This version of The Internationale should really be called the Scotish/Australian version rather than the British/Irish version. It was recorded by the Scottish singer-songwriter Alistair Hulett when he was living and performing in Australia.

@Razhumykin I'm Scottish, i don't think they mean the actual recording, but the words. These are the words used in Scotland, England, Ireland, and Wales. There is a completely different translation used in most other English speaking countries.

@fitbadaft81 The first and third verses of this version are the same as those traditionally used in Great Britain and Ireland (and also Australia, having sung them badly often enough myself at left-wing gatherings). The second verse in this version replaces the traditional Anglo second verse which begins "We peasants, artisans and others".
The other translation you refer to is sung in North America and is a very literal translation of the original French.

@fitbadaft81 I should add that because the North American version is a very literal translation of the original French, it is jarringly unsingable in English, and it was a conversation between Pete Seeger and Billy Bragg in which they both agreed that it was unsingable in English that inspired Billy Bragg to write his paraphrase and updating of the French lyrics which works much better in English.
