  • oh its mad at you now for trying to put it out lol

anyway grats on finaly extinguishing it though

  • You are placing an entirely subjective interpretation on an undesired effect, after the event. The only thing you can say is this that this is a failed attempt at extinguishing the flame, which calls the original assertion into doubt. The candle may well be reacting to dripping wax. Be scientific about it, Shirak.

  • @darrylsloan It is true that my experience is subjective everyone's. Previous to filming I had the subjective experience of directing intention and having that intention happen via the candle extinguishing. I explain in the video description my experience during filming. That the candle is reacting to movement of wax I assume this is what is burning. The crackling is something I would have only expected if the candle was wet. I had previous to this spent at least 15 minutes on extinguish.

  • @ShirakOmegaX The behavior of the candle was out outside of the previous observed behavior/time. By using my subjective experience which I believe is a valid force (in my understanding) I have compared the internal feel with the observed behavior to draw a conclusion.

  • @ShirakOmegaX The reason I personally gave up on flame bending exercises is because of the tendency to think that every time the flame bends the way you want it to, you think it's you doing it, and every time it does something different, you think it's you failing to control it. Whereas the flame is probably doing its own thing every time. If mind is involved, it's impossible to ascertain with confidence.

  • Cool.. agree, that's really inspiring.

Dad said it crackles like it would with water.

Perhaps by intending on it to extinguish, humidity rose in paraffin. This might have also caused the flame to suddenly burst bigger..?

  • @ATMega88 Yes I agree the crackling sounds like the wick is wet or the sound a flame makes when its fuel is wet.

  • Nice! Thanks for the inspiration. All the best!

  • really nice workout, love it.

  • Inspiring man:)

  • Wow, the candle really did flare and crackle. Though it may not have went out, at the end when it flares and settles, you get to really see the difference you made in the the beginning to the strength of the flame. You came really close there! Very cool!

  • You almost had it Shirak, but that candle rebelled against your commands. Now this footage gets me REALLY motivated!!! Thansk for posting it. Peace my friend.
