Yes, it is washing up. And they aren't putting more plastic in the ocean. It's in nets. Plastic is petroleum based, so it doesn't break down, even with sunlight and salt water.

These people are crazy. And, they think we are stupid. If the sea was filled with floating plastic, it would be washing up on the shore. And, it isn't.

why are you putting more plastic into the ocean? after you have seen the great pacific garbage patch you know where this plastic will end up! salt water and the sun will break down the plastic this is not a good idea!
