BOTH VERSIONS ARE FANTASTIC.. They each take you on a seprate but equally intense ride. Doug Robbs version is more passion filled, longing, screaming for the woman to understand. Brent Smiths version is dark, haunting, somewhat on the borderline of stalker material. If you are like me you listen to music to be transported to a memory or a feeling, so in that aspect both versions in their own way kick ass!! When I am missing my man, it's Dougs, When I miss him and I hate him for it, its Brents!

Meh Brent's voice has been over used by radio stations with that garbage Shinedown has done over the last few years. This is Doug's song. Brent did a good job with it, but Doug gives the song that feeling of being whole. Brent's vocals seemed a little out of place in his version; Doug's voice flows very nicely and really captures what I believe the feel of the song is supposed to be.

Both Brent and Doug have great versions, and have a lot of emotions. Personally, I prefer this version; Doug has a wider range of emotions, more melancholy, angry, and sorrowful at the same time. While Brent's version is more full of anger. Both are great versions from great singers; I just prefer the wider range of emotions present in Doug's version.
