Drtarashtra was following the adharmic path to satisfy his demoniac son, but Ram is Vishnu, Bhagavan, so this attachment Dasharath had, that s the one we should develop as well! He died chantin Ram Naam, so it was his last birth. that s what we too are hankering for. so please don t insult dasaraths grieve in separation from his son who was Bhagavan, God, Himself!

i love the old ramayan, but this one is nice.....the actors are nice.....and the songs are nice........but i would go run back to the old ramyan, mahabharat & vishnu puran anytime! lol and it's new so of course the quality, effects, costumes etc. will be better!
ok this guy playing Ram ji is cute n so is Lakshman.......i was suprised to see this one is made by Anand SAGAR...n thats why im watching, i love the sagars original Ramayana though..the best....

@VrindavaniDeviDasi ok not impressed...Taraka is so poorly made! looks like as if shes from caribbean islands with all that dread locks..lol...n the face is so humanish! the old taraka was so realistic n ugly n scary!!!
@juliesngh i didnt watch olc because i don tlike it, low quality, but i don t know how deamons were looking. tarka is not so scary, but disgusting. that are supposed to be roots, not dread locks. i liked how they film when the hands move etc
@VrindavaniDeviDasi old is gold!! its a classic! i relate Ramayana with the old one made by Ramanand Sagar........this one nice for onetime...but if u wanna repeat it over n over again, then it has to be the classic one...either way, yes taraka was very unbelievable...i am only on episode 30, i dunno how other demons will look like! hopefully not as fake as taraka!! the guys who play rama and lakshman are so cute, especially lakshman
@juliesngh you know, i´m watching the whole thing for the 3rd time now! most of the deamons are very good, but some are just soooo funny, you´ll see... in old one the actors are so ugly...and the special effects even worse! but yes, this gurmeet is really nice, i was surprised to see such a beautiful indian, and lakshman too is very nice... just watch and enjoy, you wan t regret to watch this one too
@VrindavaniDeviDasi the old Ramayan didnt have ugly characters! Deepika was so preeti n Lakshman was so realistic n so were other characters expecially Hanumanji played by Dara singh ji..he was the best! i can so relate the old one with reality but this new one is very melodramatic,,even the dialogues,songs n tunes are from old ramayana, anand sagar only changed the lyrics.....but i am still enjoying watching the new one, but its just a onetime show for me..love the classic one always n forever.
@VrindavaniDeviDasi the actors were not ugly!!! oh yes the spiecial effects, for a decade to come i had been dreading those awful effects, but that was THEN, in the new century of course they'll have good stuff! but seriously, the actors were great! sunil as lakshman was AWESOME! Sita &Hanuman were great! up till now there has never been such a good hanuman! yea in this one everything looks gentler,sita looks older than ram etc. etc. and on and on but i'm really waiting to see the luv kush part!
@ADMJCXNK97fan well, everyone has his views.for me gurmeet &debina are perfect as Sita Ram and that one of the old one was looking 50 and Ram should look ever youthful. but there is no point in discussion... u ll see, u ll enjoy this ramayan as u did the old one, it s improving on the go. Luv Kush is awesome!!!! the time i watched it there were still eps missing, but u ll enjoy it without troubles coz there are all eps now and u even don t have to search for the eps as i had.just enjoy :)
@VrindavaniDeviDasi yea..i think for the post-vanvaas period onwards i think Arun looked good, (he looks good as a firm ruler & father of 2.....naughty kids LOL when he confronts luv & kush it looks much gentler than when this ram does.....looks kinda rash haha) yea i skipped 2 the luv kush, but now i'm making myself more patient and will go through the full thing! although i like the Sita here during the time when she's exiled, very strong and decisive! :) i like this ramayan a lot tho!
