@KlyfaRadio Brett Farve declined his last few years. It's pretty damn old for a rookie. Luck's favorite tight end has only 346 yards for the same. Blackmon has 1152 yards. It's easy for a quarterback, though already good I'll give you that, to look great with a wide receiver that posts those numbers. Stanford should have started using their timeouts with 30 seconds left in the redzone and let the offense get a touchdown at the end of regulation. Why would you give the game to the backup kicker when Luck's at the helm? Barring that, why run the ball to the center of the field? Stanford kicking has been wide left all season - should've kept it on the right side. There were lots of options other than running the clock out and watching more kicking woes.

Hopefully I'll soon be able to transition into the many players and teams of college football but for now, to defend the decisions of the Stanford HC: You have to TRUST your players and teammates. If he would've put Luck back in there, a tip interception or fumble on offense at that point would make people call for the HC's head. FG was the right choice since he could drain the clock and kick it

@KlyfaRadio I know about his career in the minor league. My point is Luck didn't have receivers like Blackmon that would have allowed Luck to take more chances throwing down field. Like you said tight ends run shorter routes and 70% of Stanford's passing TDs are from the tight ends. The Big 12 may be stronger but the Pac 12 is faster. There's a reason why Luck is highly favored to be the number one pick in the NFL and Weeden would be extremely lucky to be even drafted because he is old.
