Hey I have a question I'm 19 I paid 600 for a 2000 ford mustang that needs some work I was wondering how much u think a total overhaul like a new 04-05 cobra SVT motor and a new front and rear end with tranny and drive shaft would cost again I'm not trying to be negative and I think ur cars pretty badass
@fordsrule4 8.8 live axle are about 250 and under .The IRS 8.8 assembly go for 700-1500.Over all the front suspension is the same 94-04 minus the different rotors and calipers for the cobras ,they use there own spindles also all under 400-600 for the cobra stuff. Drive shafts used from the yard are under 80 bucks ..but the dohc 4.6 and 5.4 supercharged motors and 6 speed trannys are going for 3k-10k for ecu harness motor and trans ..thats minus the labor if you do it your self..

@svtmotorman Bro, I don't care if I have a nice car. Right now I drive an '88 CRX, t04e at 5PSI. It's my DD and I don't want it to look nice, I drive it everywhere.
I just got rid of a civic that had 274k on it and was still running just fine. It was abused by some teens and I picked it up for cheap because it had a few problems to fix. A day's time and I was driving the car again.
I have plenty of videos on my page. I've owned plenty of cars as well, and I'm not even 25 yet.

@sabrom he never says anything about 145k. mustangs 5.0 will take more abuse then anyother motor. they come stock with forged pistons. the only reson he blew that up is causee he lost fuel at 145mph. i had a 5.0 with over 250,000 that i beat the shit out of and still ran fine. altough i did change the oil with synthetic every 1500-2000 miles because of my driving style.
