  • @HallowReign23 True, but I do still feel sorry for him. His smoking didn't make him any less of a good guy or a great actor. Those cigarettes are a nasty habit hard to give up...I know...

  • 0:30 seconds... That was horribly haunting. Jim said "cigarettes will kill you"... Yeah, he was right about that. As much as I miss Jim, you can't feel too sorry for him, it was his fault.

  • 1:30 - :34 'Now' ya know how it feels, 'Warden.'

  • Ernest electrocutes 1 foe of this video.

  • Damn lyle shouldve went with ernest he couldve started over at least I know not every criminal is not bad like that

  • I'VE BEEN VANDALIZED!by Elvis

  • Where is the scene where nash "ernest" gets a visit from a prositute? and the guards play cards..

  • "I been vandalized...by Elvis!" LOL

  • @TheSpamich Best Ernest line EVER!

  • where is the part where he is with the prositute? i remember that part in the movie when it was on tv....

  • At 4:46, if Ernest was going to send Lyle a cake (which is what people do to the prisoners who are in jail that they're friends with) I guess Ernest would have to disguise himself because if he comes as himself, the other cops would think he is Nash and put him back in jail.

  • @afriendofbean Not REALLY. They caught the REAL Nash in the end when they saw Ernest fall from the sky on him. They now know Erenst is NOT Nash.

  • @FilmsKayCee That's right but, before they found the real Nash at the bank, the cops were tracking down where Ernest went still thinking Ernest was Nash. (Either they thought Ernest was still Nash or, the reason the cops tracked Ernest down was maybe because Lyle told them where the real Nash is where Ernest must have told Lyle the address). Even though Ernest kept telling them he's not Nash, they should have believed him since his voice is different or Ernest could should ID if he had it.

  • @afriendofbean Nash told Reuben he works at the bank and he probably told Lyle who told the cops

  • @FilmsKayCee That's true. Maybe Nash told the address to Reuben and Reuben told the address the Lyle. I guess as soon as the cops put Lyle back in jail, Lyle must have told the cops the address so they can put Nash back in jail. Reuben probably wasn't there to stop Lyle from giving the information to the cops since Lyle knocked Reuben out.

  • Earnest has Force Lightning!

  • god gave him a gift to get out lol

  • 0:36 - :0:40 Forget 'you,' 'warden.'

  • Yeah thats it you dumb bitch go in the office and call for help and stay standing in an office full of windows that anyone in the bank can see into

  • Franken-Worrell!!!

  • I thought it was cool when Lyle stood up for Ernest.

  • @jasonhylnd001 So did I, the one time he talks he has good words to say :)

  • raiden!

  • At 4:54, was Lyle putting his hands up like he was saying "I surrender" or, was he putting his hands up to stop and grab the cops from chasing after Ernest?

  • @afriendofbean He was surrendering.

  • @WhenxChristxReturnsx Thank you.

  • @afriendofbean You're welcome. Lyle sure was a good guy.

  • @WhenxChristxReturnsx I guess Lyle wasn't a henchman of Nash and Reuben which is why he let Ernest escape by saving him from Reuben. (He was probably just put in jail by just meeting Nash and Reuben in that same cell). I agree, Lyle was great. He was also great in the movies "Ace Ventura Pet Detective" and "The Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult" where he was a bad guy on those two movies just like in this Ernest movie.

  • @afriendofbean Yeah, he hung around them as a bodyguard type of figure which makes him seem like a bad guy at first but later we see he's good. Oh yes, I remember him from Pet Detective, he was awesome in that movie too :)

  • @WhenxChristxReturnsx Yes, I guess Lyle wasn't interested in doing bad things to Ernest which is why he was silent for the whole time as he was seen in jail. I remember Reuben saying to Ernest that he better listen to what he says or he says that he will make Lyle break his back, so I guess he would have forced Lyle to break Ernest's back.

  • @afriendofbean I guess so. Maybe he was just really introvertive and didn't want to socialize with people. You have a point there, Lyle was still being controlled by Nash and Reuben until he decided to stand up for Ernest.

  • @WhenxChristxReturnsx Yes, maybe since Nash and Reuben were thieves as it was mentioned in court that Nash was a bank robber, Lyle must have been sent to jail for another reason. If Lyle wasn't a thief, maybe he was sent to jail for prank calling or something. (I'm sure he wasn't arrested for murdering because if he was, he would have been put in the electric chair with Ernest). I guess the reason he didn't want to escape with Ernest at 4:30 because he wanted to stay out of trouble.

  • @afriendofbean Well as you mentioned, Lyle said at 4:29 he didn't belong in society and that he has a place in prison. A lot of prisoners become used to that kind of life over time and feel like they're on another planet if they're released back into normal life. Plenty of them commit crimes just to get back into prison because it's all they know.

  • @WhenxChristxReturnsx I didn't know that. I guess people who want to get arrested enjoy free food from the police and a weight room to workout which Lyle enjoys. I agree when you said that people do crimes to get arrested since one of my old neighbors friend had a wife who he divorced and he lost his job and he needed money, so he robbed a bank not caring whether he would have money or get arrested since he thought getting arrested, the police would give him food and a bed to sleep.

  • @afriendofbean It's a sad reality, but often a common one. Wow, I'm really sorry about your friend. A lot of homeless people will do things like that to get into jail. I guess if you think about it it's a lot better than living on the streets. You've got shelter, food, and facilities for free.

  • @WhenxChristxReturnsx Actually, that person was not my friend, he was my neighbors friend. I think that neighbor's friend was arrested four years ago and he is still in jail but, I'm not sure when the police will release him. If my neighbor talks about him, maybe he will tell me when his friend gets released.

  • @afriendofbean Ahaha I love when Ernest gets home to see how Nash redecorated the inside. "I've been vandalized....by Elvis!" XD

  • @WhenxChristxReturnsx I love it too since he probably knew that it was Nash who did that since Reuben in the jail told Ernest that Nash is taking over his life and Lyle said that Nash is robbing the bank where he knew it was Nash. I remember in the beginning of the movie, Ernest had toys all around his house to make the electricity work when he turns on the light.

  • @afriendofbean I love Ernest's house, I wonder who's idea it was to make it so wacky.

  • @WhenxChristxReturnsx Perhaps maybe Nash did all that rearranging since he was trying to have a romantic time with Ernest's girlfriend Charlotte.

  • @afriendofbean That seems like the only reason he did it. Looks like an awful lot of work to impress a lady for one night though.

  • @WhenxChristxReturnsx Yes it is. The reason he did it was because he wanted to make the place as beautiful as he can so she would come in and see the place better and then it looked like he was trying to kill her since he pinned her down on the couch with Ernest's dog Rimshot saving her.

  • @afriendofbean Glad she got away. And I agree with Ernest's words, "Who would throw away a perfectly good dog?"

  • @WhenxChristxReturnsx I also like those words Ernest said.

  • @afriendofbean I want to try to make drum covers of some of the songs from the Ernest movies but I can't find many of them :(

  • Ernest P Worrell, the original inspiration for the well known video game "Infamous"

Honestly...Ernest should have been the main character of that game!

  • I like the battle and the song that starts at 2:56.

  • bobby...haha the ONLY smart one in this movie :P

  • "Lyle, you talk! thats great!" go Lyle!!

  • that chair is so big. lol ahh i love this...the music and everything

  • 5:25 made me laugh out loud!!!!

  • ernest must have more voltage running through him than zzzax from marvel comics

  • Yu-yu-yu-ga, yo-yu-yu-ga!

  • This is the scene where Sucker Punch got the idea for Infamous.

  • Anybody here see Rambo 2? 1:42 "Murdock! I'm coming for you!" LOL

  • Charlotte just wasn't thinking. Calling mr.p instead of calling the cops. I guess Nash was right, everyone who works there is a moron.

  • Maybe the reason why she called Mr. P is because, since Mr. P. is the owner of the bank she probably wanted to ask if she should call the cops since he might have wanted to talk to Ernest/Nash to get the money back he stole. (Mr. P. probably would have gotten angry at her for calling the cops without permission since he's the owner). Unless maybe she was about to ask him if she should call the cops but unfortunately, Nash grabbed the phone and disconnected the wire before she could say it.

  • I wonder why the cops wanted to put Nash in the electric chair and kill him since it was mentioned earlier in the film at the jury that Nash robbed a bank which is why he was arrested and of course, they don't put the prisoners in the electric chair for stealing somewhere since only a person who murdered someone else gets the electric chair. Between Nash and Reuben, Reuben should have been the one to get the electric chair because in the beginning of the movie, he murdered another prisoner.

  • @afriendofbean Man, as many times as I have seen this movie, I never heard what Nash was in there for. Now, I'd think he'd HAVE to be in there for something more than just robbery for him to have as much pull with the other prisoners as he did.

  • @TheBookWorm1718 Well, I do remember in part 3 of 8 it was mentioned from 1:48-1:52 that Nash was a bank robber and crime zar so with it being mentioned that he was a crime zar, he must have done more than one crime. He might have also killed someone but, it's too bad that it was not mentioned from 1:48-1:52 on part 3 of 8 all the crimes he did. However, if they were going to put Nash in the electric chair, they should have put Reuben in the chair too since it was mentioned that he did murder.

  • At 0:55, was that guy a priest since he was holding a bible? If he was a priest, in real life, when police officers are executing a prisoner, do they have priests in the electric chair room with the cops just to show that with the priest there, the cops have permission from God to execute another human? Since of course, killing someone is a sin as one of the ten commandments.

  • Sublimited message:

After Ernest gets shocked in the eletric chair and lifts his head up, notice the round silver plate thingy that appers on his chest when it wasn't there before.

  • I noticed that too, and I think I put a comment about that here too. My guess is that the electricity must have made a burned spot on his shirt.

  • @BigNC991 This would be considered a movie mistake. Check out the website movie mistakes.com and type in any movie you want to view their mistakes.

  • I always found it weird how the cop holding the dogs at 7:19 walked like he had a massive limp

  • @azuriteblogs: Holy shit, I thought I was the only one that noticed that!

  • its ironic how he says "cigarettes will kill you: at :30 because he died of lung cancer from being a chain smoker :(

    rest in peace ernest

  • 4:36 I feel the same way.

  • Lyle or however you spell his name threw a pretty good left at 4:20

  • It's so hard for me to NOT laugh during each one of those electrical spasms. Ah, Ernest, a wonderful part of my childhood.

Glad I got the DVD 3-pack so I can expose my future offspring to Ernest, but it almost feels like a crime seeing it at Best Buy for $5.

  • @crustypossum Perhaps a jack russel?

  • First time plasmids a real kick from a mule but theres nothing like a fist full of lightning now is there Splicer give him the comboe zap um then wack um the one two punch remember the one two punch

  • Isn't Jim Varney dead?

  • Cigarettes did kill him. He was a heavy smoker all his life and died from lung cancer, because of smoking. RIP

  • @BeyondChange There's a lesson to be learned, my friend:

Never smoke a cigarette. It gives everybody lung cancer.

  • Cigarettes will kill you. I wish he would've listened to himself back then.

  • 1:37 Magneto is born!

  • Lmfao, hahahaha, he's been vandolized by Elvis.. Hahaha.

  • what do u mean he died

  • @cherrickandrew Yeah, Jim Varney died of Cancer Feb. 10th, 2000(Cancer). If you go to imdb.com you can find all sorts of actor/acress info there, =).

  • Hooray for "Ernest P. Worrell, Electro-Man"!!

  • you know how hard it is to find these movies ! thanks for posting

  • R.I.P. Mr .Varney

  • Ernest is like a cartoon, he's never injured and what would kill a 'normal' person has no effect on him!

  • There hasn't been an Ernest movie where I don't laugh at one of his classic quotes. :) "*Gasp!* I've been vandalized, by Elvis!" "What kind of a person would throw away a perfectly good dog?"

  • RIP so many childhood memories why cant they make kid movies like this any more oh wait thats right its the new generation parents aka even my own complaining about violence what a bunch of wusses no wounder we have emo's today

  • I've been vandalized. By Elvis! I'm all shook up.

  • He looks Cute without his hat on! It's true. We all will miss him more then Michael Jackson. RIP 1949-2000 I will never forget you.

  • Thank you for letting me know. I can see it now but, I wasn't able to see the pages separated because for one thing, the screen on my computer was looking a little dark so I couldn't see it that well and the other reason I thought it was a remote control was because, at 1:21, the man was looking down at the bible looking like he was holding down a button or was about to push a different button looking like it was a remote control controlling the electricity. Thank you again.

  • ''I've been vandalized... by Elvis!''

  • @jacko821 I cannot believe it, did he pass away???? *_*

  • I love this movie. Watched it for the first time when I was a kid. Has anyone noticed by chance that there is a shadow casting on the wall of the camera equipment as they are zooming in between 7:55-8:12 while Charlotte was on the phone in the office.

  • That was very dangerous how Ernest got a burned spot on his shirt at 1:28 after getting electrocuted.

  • At 1:21, what was the man on the left with the glasses doing with that remote control? I wonder if he was controlling the electricity coming out of the electric chair once one of the cops flipped the switch on at 1:10.

  • At 1:09, why did Ernest sit down on the chair when he knew that the chair is an electric chair? (It looks like he wanted to sit down and get comfortable for a second and talk more before the cops flipped the switch on so that they wouldn't electrocute him or, he must have accidentally sat down).

  • I was a little confused but, when Ernest was getting electrocuted in the electric chair, aren't the police supposed to have tied him down onto the chair before electrocuting him? Maybe the reason they didn't tie him onto the chair was because, he was already sitting down on the chair and they probably thought before he stands up that they better flip the switch on.

  • He said that cigarettes will kill you. Ironically, Jim Varney died of lung cancer because of his lifelong habit of cigarette smoking.

  • How did Ernest Die??

  • @rynocowboys2003 He died of lung cancer at 50 years of age.

  • @rynocowboys2003 lung cancer

  • Earnest P. Worrell: ELECTROMAN!

YES! Earnest P. Worrell possesses the power of electricity. Too bad it's only temporary.

  • But he CAN absorb electricity from items and send them out at extreme speeds

  • Yeah, but a lifetime of being zapped and electrocuted pretty much saved his life when he got the chair.

  • He sounds alot like Jim though in the trailer I've seen. Of course that's only a clip but Slinky Dog is one of the stars of Toy Story. Ya can't just leave him out in the last trilogy. Just not fair.

  • this part is the best part of all well seeing him all electrified.

  • "im robbing the bank"

  • Ive ben vandalized...by Elvis! LOL

  • This would be an incredibly dark movie were it not for Ernest's strange reaction to electricity.

  • Yeah, I wasn't happy about that, they should have just left out that character. Jim Varney was the man, the only man I know that could play two different people, look the same and yet have two completely different personalities and make being electrocuted fun, lol.

  • I guess the reason they're not leaving out Jim Varney's character on "Toy Story 3" is because it probably wouldn't be fair to have all the main character toys on it except the toy Jim Varney voiced.

  • I've been vandalised...by Elvis!

  • check out ernestine.

  • "I've been vandalized. By Elvis!"

    Classic.

  • "ELECTROMAN!"

  • ROFL electroman! I remember seeing this in the summer vacation!

  • That electric chair looked like something out of a Sci-Fi movie.

  • cigarettes killed him :( R.I.P

  • Rimshot... best name ever.

  • Best part starting @ 2:16

  • "cigarettes will kill ya"

too bad he didnt follow that advice when the poor guy died of lung cancer in 2000.

  • @gitarguy222 That is exactly right, my noble friend.

    Cigarettes will kill everybody.

  • Greatest quote of the whole movie: "I"ve Been Vandalized!... By Elvis!"

  • this is the reason why the electric chair was oulawed.

  • lol

  • Ernest: I've been vandalized by Elvis.

  • love the theme music at 3:00, anyone know the name of it? it fits ernest.

  • yeah it makes it more fun to watch him because he's getting in to trouble.

  • THE BEST MOVIE EVER!! THANK YOU SO MUCH

  • roflmao @ 1:13

  • Cigarettes will kill you.. RIP

  • yeah I know, the irony of that statement.

  • thank you for that statment and I think if had stops no doubt we will still see ernest movies.

  • @sethphat1 the irony of that quote is cigarettes did kill him, God bless his soul, no actor was better:(
