i have 2 cats that look like Maine Coon / Norwegian / Siberian .. one of them is totaly grey and the other is brown/black/yellow mixed .. both with long tail and long hair .
@QQuaeE They have different shaped faces. Siberians have a soft wedge shaped face. Maine coons have a more rounded face and Norwegians have a more triangular shaped face.
We've had our siberian kitten for about 2 weeks now and he is extremely graceful and a great jumper as described =] My allergies are less...but I still have them =/
I just said "goodbye" to my siberian cat, Jasmine, yesterday. She was the perfect cat. Incredibly lovable. I will miss her terribly. I took her in from the SPCA. I can't believe anyone would ever neglect such a wonderful little girl. But I'm happy I could find her. In the future I will get another siberian cat. In my opinion, they are an amazing breed.

hypoallergenic cats (sorry if i made a typo) do exist. but there are very very few of them, and if you want 1, you have to pay about a few thousand bucks (i believe about 6000 dollars)
@alexiscool33 i know some siberians here in canada are about 1200-1500 with papers and depending on the breeder too. but for sure they can get expencive depending on the lines!
@alexiscool33 ive paid 300 euro's for mine :) thats like 500 dollars or something, without the papers because the person who sold her to me, is not an official breeder, if it was then i had to pay something between 800 and 1500 euro's..

@phowaa When it comes to purebred cats, I always favor natural breeds, which are breeds that have evolved naturally without the help of humans. Siberians are a natural breed. American curls have unnatural ears and can have skull deformities because of this. I would go with a siberian.
I really love CATS 101 and Siberian cats.
