I see this comments from the real Bond fans under me and just have to say, its true. They said everything, what is need to say. To much changed things, QoS is not a Bond movie in my eyes. Death48, those are not the things that make a Bond story. Q wasn't in Live and Let Die or Casino Royale, so I suppose those weren't Bond films? He didn't even appear in the majority of the Bond novels, and neither did Moneypenny. "Tenner" (Tanner) was in QOS, but I'm guessing you somehow failed to notice him? It would seem you missed the film's gunbarrel as well, as you evidently left before the credits began. Also, "Bond, James Bond" has not appeared in several films. Just because some aspects

are missing does not suddenly deprive a Bond film of being about James Bond. Anyway, I personally think the "most badest" (worst) Bond film was Die Another Day. It was far too gimmicky (i.e., Moneypenny, Q, gadgets (an invisible car?)), way too cheesy, the action entered sci-fi territory, and it just went downhill in Havana, if you ask me.

Well i finished seeing this movie and to be honest it is only a little bit better than Casino Royal where action is concerned.The movie felt short like they left half the movie on the cutting room floor and the good parts too.The car chase was one of the best parts and it felt short.Also Bond is or was all about gadgets and aside from the 007 version of the iPhone there wasn't any.I would give this movie a 7/10 as in 007 get it.I hope the next ones better because i am starting to root for Mi6.

I totally agree. Casino Royale was fantastic and one of the best Bond movies ever made.

However, Quantum Of Solace is the first Bond movie to have a sequel. There was a lot of action (certainly with the Aston Martin).

But the story is to quick to follow and what I didn't like was they showed the famous gunbarrel on the end of the movie.

yep. you said basically everything i had in mind. I think Bond should have been with more depth, especially since he's looking for his 'quantum of solace' of the title. was finally glad to see the gunbarrel sequence with Craig. but i don't really know what to think of it. it seems genius. since now Bond has fully "become" Bond, though Royale showed this better as he mutters his immortal line of:"The name's Bond, James Bond."

Technically, Casino Royale, chronologically, is the first in the entire Bond series by Ian Fleming. Therefore, it is not out of line to assume that the character of Q hasn't been hired yet. I can only assume that he'll come into play in at least a later Bond film.

i thought it was a good movie. i liked the plot. my only few complaints are that the movie was too short and the camera shook too much. i also think they didn't give craig enough screen time. he didn't have enough Bond moments int he film. no doubt Casino Royale was and will always be the best bond movie.
