  • its esy to take care off it yet she manages to damage it i wonder how the rest off her plants look like

  • You are killing the plant pee brain don't leave it on the deck all summer how about I leave you in a fire see how it feels

  • No direct sun light that will kill it

  • Lucky bamboo doesn't like a lot of sun light, It grows on the bottom of the rain forest so in the wild theres a lot of water and very little sun light

  • Plant killer!! xD

  • Yes, tear off the leaves and "it will grow more and more plants". "Even if I kill it I don't kill it".

  • Yes, tear off the leaves and "it will grow more and more plants".

  • Never put lucky bamboo outside and do not leave it in water it will rot, it has to be in soil.

  • if u accidentally break off leaves tht are still green and put those in water will those continue to grow?

  • it needs to be in soil and cared for like a reg. house plant. if it turns yellow its rotted.

not direct sun. I learn this from trial and error and knowledge.

  • u say that lucky bamboo is not even a bambo in every videoooo I hate iT!

  • @mrmason13 Yes some of the things said in these vids are good but I can't watch anymore cuz that's so annoying.

  • it still look bad

  • direct sunlight will kill it.

  • She sounds like she's guessing and making this stuff up!!!

  • This woman is such a fool, she doesn't know a single thing about gardening.

She has a million videos talking about plants that she doesn't even have in front of her, and even when she has the right plant she's misinforming everyone.

These videos do more harm than good, IMO.

  • Never put lucky bamboo in direct sun, it will burn the leaves. Bright, indirect light is best.

  • 1:45 - i'll just leave it on my deck

2:05 - and i leave mine indoors all year around

    DONT TRUST EXPERTVILLAGE!!

  • lol, she is a dumbass....

her vid suck, one of them was like "how to care for peonies" and all she talked about was where she got hers

  • @Justmerched damm you gys are mean, lol/.

  • LOL I like the comment of mcdanic97

  • if it's so EASY to grow, why can't you keep the leaves from turning brown?

  • @mcdanic97 yeah haha

  • that plant don,t look too lucky lol

  • are they bad for fish?i had one for about 2 years... yet it never grew all it had got was 1 leaf. and a little bit of roots yet m brotehrs one has heaps of roots... im sad.. now the final one slowly dieing... im thinking getting another batch and take etreme care of it.. .. i thinking of gettign fishes tand liek chuck my tree in there xd or ill just get weater from it and put it in

  • lol that plant has been destroyed by you proving your point that it can withstand anything you throw at it. If you kept it out of direct light... and were gentle with it... the leaves would grow fuller and you wouldn't have so much brown. p.s. - use distilled water. =)

  • Or just boiling water. Lots and lots of it. :) It kills ivy and nettles, so why not bamboo? Otherwise, I have cats, and they love to chew it. :P

  • lucky bamboo is poisonous for cats!

  • It is? They seem to be all right anyway, though they don't really do it much. Thanks for the heads-up, though. I'll be sure to put it away.

  • Seriously, she's right. Lucky bamboo is extremely resilient. I have one that I put in a coke bottle about three years ago, and I've only watered it for about every month or so, since it doesn't need it a lot.

  • Not to be a know it all, but you should not leave it in direct sunlight. Truth is the death rate of bamboo is 3%, 3 out of 100 that don't make it, but if it's part of the 97% it will grow in just water.

  • question, is lucky bamboo fine in a room that is fully shaded? My mom had it in the kitchen on the east side of the house and the leaves were baking lol, but i trimmed them, but my room is fully shaded and the only light its getting is from a light bulb, will it b all right, thnx

  • Yes, shade is perfect.

  • @fsadvice, shade is not really perfect. The plant needs light to grow, but not direct sunlight.

And ppl don't start with something like "it died near the window" then your window probably were getting direct sunlight, and got it burned -- Just in nice light up room but not directing getting the sunshine on it.

  • No. It will die. I had a lucky bamboo plant that was kept in a shaded room away from the windowsill. It died within a year. I waited too long to move it into a sunlit area. The lucky bamboo I have on a windowsill has been there a year and is very healthy. It is not in direct sunlight the entire day.

  • so basically what she is saying is.. you can treat it like garbage and it'll be alright?

  • OMG x'D

I'm laughing my head off xD

  • XD !!!!

  • Why is this person, who is giving gardening tips, telling us about how much she neglects her bamboo...

  • I killed my lucky bamboo. It's unfortunate it doesn't have 9 lives

  • My lucky bamboo must not be so lucky lol. I've had it for over a year, and it's grown, like, 1 inch higher.

  • lol

  • We all need luck in our lives. Hey, it's so easy to grow, but you have to watch where you don't want it to grow. Warning, it's just like ivy once it gets established, YOU CAN'T KILL IT~

  • first every thing:( 5*
