Any society that persists in a form without meaning won't hold long against the reality - that you can't just selectively recognize some traits and kick out (in the name of the country) anybody and everybody that don't fit into that category, regardless of their contribution to the society. That's not Cantonese, it's Mandarin. They are different. He has been studying Chinese in order to sing in China. I saw him on TV and he is very fluent in Mandarin now.

Well his home is the US of A. From what I've heard is that YSJ took off to US and got a US citizenship at the exact time he was to be enlisted in the korean army. He denied the fact thats the reason he took off but the korean goverment didn't buy it.
You know if this was in korean language it would've been HOT. It's too bad he can't go back to korean. And I bought his new CD but, just only a couple of songs are his new songs and the rest are his old korean songs.
