You're sharing the thoughts of many LG15 fans! I don't know if you're a part of the forums or not, but we have huuge threads dedicated to this very idea. XD Personally, I believe that they killed Bree like this for two reasons: It gives a window of opportunity to bring her back later, and it keeps the viewers talking and interested! Bree's death generated tons of publicity, and lots of ranty fans!

We actually have a comment on here somewhere from Spencer. He said they needed all her blood at once. As for the ending, I thought it was supposed to be like a cliff-hanger? You know, like the season finale, to make us keep watching? *shrug*
I doubt they threw her off. She started getting real acting jobs that pay her real money. I'm sure that was her goal to begin with. It sucks for us, but it's good for her. That's life. People have goals they want to achieve.
It seemed like a very abrupt ending for such a long build up. I suspect outside factors may have contributed. Personally, I see this heading in a direction that has been traveled down many times on various sci-fi shows. I sort of wish they would open up a venue for viewer submissions to help inject some life back into the series before it heads further south.
I think I read somewhere that even though Bree is dead, they kept her death vague enough so that if on the offchance something in Jessica's schedule were to open up... they could explain it away.

or maybe they have her hooked to this recycle gaget that keeps her midly alive only just enough to have her body making more blood, and have her also hooked up to IVs so that her body doesnt dry up...Who knows

They've said the reason for the ceremony TONS of times, Lisa! Haha. They did transfuse Bree's blood to an Elder (one of the leader of the order) And the reason they did it then is that they needed to pump as much blood as they could into the elder because the rybozimes (what was in her blood) was lowering in the elders blood. Thats why they find these girls. The girls that have the crazy blood... they die. The guys that have the crazy blood... become the leader of a secret organization.
The story line has so many holes in it that nobody knows what's going on. And they never come back and fill in the gaps. How about the opening of the new season-Jonas just got stabbed in the ribs, yet he can run and swim. Hellooo!

You never know - she might pop back in to help out where she got started. Especially if LG15 gets more revenue, or she's working with friends. A recurring guest slot, playing a different role (the Order needed her to suffer brain death so they could transfer one of their ancient selves into her magic-blooded body).
I don't subscribe to any of the other "stars", but these are all paid actors. It's run by a corporation. It's not really about the individual people. They have no say in the matters at all, so it's not like we can interact with them, like we do with each other. It's just something different and mildly entertaining.
Have you ever seen HappyModayGirl's stuff? She has 3 or 4 well done vids in an office setting. I think she said she had help from some Second City people.
There are three or four. If memory serves me they are all under 2 minutes. They follow a sequence and you see the pattern that occurs. Fun and goofy office humor - though I've never worked in an office ;o)
I just went back to look at her vids. There are 4 in that series. Your first response may be, what's up with that guy. I think it's like any character... the more you know them the more you like them.
So I recommend them as a series only.

I couldnt agree more! It kind of seems to me like the Bree character was the glue that held the show together.. it was their common goal, and in the end the reason they all worked so hard. Now, I am almost ready to leave this LG15 obsession behind.. but I love it too much. I was this close to ditching lonelygirl15 altogether when they killed off Bree, but I always get like that when my favorite people die on shows.
LOL. Sure why not. They've been taking forever to approve the responses though. I think that on some of the channels, or maybe on specific videos, they don't want the responses to show up. It took the 2 weeks to approved the yoga video!
Your eyes are beautiful. And her death was really ruined by other characters over-acting.
