can i create my own bass line on track 1 , own drum pattern on track 2 and strings on track 3 all played by myself using know preset patterns and using my a-300 pro controller and studio instruments. :--))
Also, I have GT 3 and recently upgraded from Vista to WIndows 7. After the upgrade GT3 won't record. Have any tips on how to fix it or is it not compatible with 7?
The Minimum specs for GTPro 4 are: Windows XP (32 bit), Intel Pentium 4.2 GHz or AMD Athlon XP 2800+ Processor, 1 GB RAM, 500 MB of hard disk space, 1024 x 768 (16 bit color) screen resolution...
Does it have built-in bass that you can add to the project and change the chords on it? For example setup a 12 bar blues in the key of E and have the bass be able to be changed to play E / A / B?
I am trying to decide which software to purchase and since Cakewalk does not provide a demo, I have no way of telling if I can do this.
my wife just got this for me and it is an awsome product very easy to use made my first song in about half a day... still learning it i just barely scratched the surface
Its actually based on the same UI as the new version of SONAR Home Studio (7) & Music Creator 5 - some design elements are also seen in the new version of SONAR

If you get one without the USB, how would you hook your guitar up to the PC?
MeLikeFrapps 2 years ago
Sound card or another USB audio interface like a line 6 ux2 or tascam us122.

Hopefully the user manual/help section is fuller and more detailed than that which came with GTP3.
Myself and many others it seems had to go searching on the internet to find answers to questions involving the product.

I got really comfortable with Guitar Tracks 2.0 and don't really like anything else now. Is the basic recording function the same with this one?
deathpunchz 2 years ago
Yes, the basic functions are the same. However, there's a brand new look to GTPro 4 and a host of new features included!
