  • 32 only supports 3 RAMS!!!!!

  • @darkVegeto69 Actually it's 3.25 GB, please read the description.

  • @Hildron101010 thats weard yesterday i had windows7 home prmium 32-bit it said

"instaled memory (RAM): 4GB (3usableGB) now i instaled windows 7 ultimate 64 bits and its full 4 ram so i think it only handels 3 :/

  • i just noticed that windows vista on my computer is 32 bit. now my question is, can i install windows 8 64 bit on my computer? would it be compatible? or i really have to stick to the 32 bit technology? appreciate any answers!

  • @ssajjadgull What type of CPU do you have?

  • the main raison is that its slooooowerrr XD

  • The difference between them is that if a guy Im at school with has a 32 bit computer, then mines is better than his, and so I am better than he is.

  • Being able to utilize more than 4GB of ram is nice but there is software out there for Windows that allows 32bit users to have up to 64GB of ram. If you by a new computer it will come with 64bit but if your updating an older computer that is 64bit compatible don't waste your money. Get a SSD hard drive instead.

  • The only reason to get 64bit is to be future proof and it doesn't cost anymore than 32bit. As of right now most of the computer world is still 32bit. Most users are not going to benefit or notice much of a speed difference from 32 to 64bit unless your doing a lot of heavy computing.

  • windows 32 bit roda no máximo 3.25 de ram,

  • I have installed someone for 16 desktop ram on windows x64 it works

  • I feel shitty watching this on 32 bit.

  • It's a compaq and OEMact I think might be what your looking for

  • @SniperBryon Do you have a model number for the computer?

  • Uhh windows or is that not what your looking for

  • @SniperBryon Windows is a type of operating system. I need the brand of your computer, and the model of it as well. I need to find out your hardware specifications.

  • A 32 bit vista with 1 gb of ram

  • @SniperBryon Sorry if there's any trouble. What I'm looking for is the brand of computer that you use. I need hardware information.

  • How do do that?

  • @SniperBryon I can help you out. What type of computer do you have?

  • How do I make my processor faster on my 32-bit? I'm kinda poor and I try to game on my Chanel but its so slow... Help?

  • @SniperBryon To get better gaming performance, it is highly recommended that you update your video card.

  • More ram doesn't mean your computer will run faster... it means that it has more space to run programs... the processor is what makes it process info faster...

  • @chica476 Yes, I am well aware of that. But when I said that, I was basically saying that it helps your computer run faster. But the video description also tells you to look at a more updated video. This one is pretty old, but still pretty informative. But the new one is way better.

  • Who could even afford 16 TB of RAM ?

  • @EliaForce1984ita Enterprises

  • @Hildron101010 I wish I could have so much RAM... games would be very beautiful :3

Unfortunately I'm stuck with 6 GB on my PC and 4 GB on this iMac (I' ll upgrade the pc ram to 8 GB when I can)

  • buy both of them incorporated 32bit and 64bit and that's all xD

  • about ssd?

  • 64 vs 32 = 32 lose

  • 32 bit is only 3,5 gigs

  • @Fosten12 I heard it's really 3.25. But this video is older. Check out the description for more.

  • I did dislike this video because of Intel logo.

  • if 64-bit is better than 32-bit, than why do people even buy 32-bit?

  • @epidyfilms Just in case if their CPU is 32-bit, or they are using an OS, like Windows, where there are many 64-bit compatibility issues.

  • @Hildron101010 compatibility issues as in programs or hardware issues?

  • @epidyfilms Mainly with programs, but sometimes with drivers involving certain hardware.

  • @Hildron101010 64 bit pc games would be better?

  • @Hildron101010 ok thanks

  • @epidyfilms Either because of CPU support or driver support.. Though problems with compatability software is kind of dead now.. Many programs supports 64-bit today.. It was at XP 64 bit edition's time that nothing was supported..

  • @epidyfilms More stable. In few day will install Windows XP 32 Bit in my pc. The Windows 7, 64 bit got many errors, that's why I will install the good old XP, even if my PC was build for W7, 64 Bit.

  • is it possible for my mac to boot up in 32 bit, it is running in 64 bit need to install a 32 bit firmware update for my camera but it needs to be installed on a mac first

  • i have 6GB ram on laptop

  • what is best for gaming 64-bit or 32-bit?

  • @justibisnotfag For gaming, I can't say that it matters because I don't know of any games that use 64-bit. Gaming is mainly based off of the power of the video card, and 32/64-bit does not have a factor involving the video card.

  • @justibisnotfag 64-bit

  • @justibisnotfag 64 bit

  • @justibisnotfag 64bit

  • @justibisnotfag when building a new computer, no gamer would build with less than 4gb memory... it is kind of a standard to build a gaming pc with ATLEAST 2x 4GB = 8GB memory ...well either 4GB or 8GB or any higher would need 64BIT OS to read all the memory.

  • @SrFulanoTal for x-58 system gamers will need 2x3gb ram sticks so that the cpu will operate stable. If you have a motherboard that has 6 ram slots for a x-58 cpu, you want to occupy atleast three ram slots, or the colored ram slot further away from the cpu.

  • @justibisnotfag 64-bit is good for gaming because the 2009-2012 games uses around 2gigs of memory for video rendering and loading games, etc. If you use 32-bit the file transfer will repeat the process, in case it will be slow.

  • sorry @Hildron101010 when i said 64-bit is stupid because it had no showing videos i was talking about internet explorer 9 in 64-bit version i use 32-bit internet explorer 9 in a 64-bit operating system...

  • @noles900 You are not using 64-bit Flash Player or Java with your IE x64! You have to install the 64-bit version of FP to be able to watch online videos on a 64-bit web browser! You sound computer illiterate, whether you are or not.

  • And some use 16 bit technology.

  • Now I know....

  • The big support of RAM is useless, who has a motherboard which can support terabytes of RAM?It is like you have a computer, with no electricity.

  • 64 BIT AND 32 GB RAM.

  • better is 32 bit or 64 bit (for games)

  • fuck ive got 32 bit :(

  • something is woring in the video, RAM is not for speed, only to load on programs and so... RAM = Random Access Memory.. its your processor thats the speed.

  • @vivastar Yes and no. What I was saying what that RAM does not speed up your computer, but it let's the computer run faster under a heavier workload. For example, start up a few heavy programs, like apps in the CS5.5 suite, and make your available RAM be a very low number. Then try opening a few browsing sessions. You will notice that it will be much slower, and there will be hangs.

  • @Hildron101010 yes you need over 4gb to run heavy programs, thats why 64bit is so nice.. at the moment i only have 16gb of total RAM in my pc, i know a little overkill. i like it that way :P

  • @vivastar :D the new x79 chipset can handle 64 GB ! (If you are using a 64-bit OS, that is!)

  • @vivastar True, prosessor is made for prosessing ofc, but lack of RAM slows your computer down, and other way around.

  • 4 gb of ram is enough for everyone

  • @muchamariam1 No, it's not at all. I've got 4 GB now, and it is a pain to be running Final Cut Pro and other programs at the same time. 8 GB is my minimum.

  • @Hildron101010 no i mean for gaming ! not for windows ..sorry i didn't mention this

  • @Hildron101010 i have 4.06 gigabyte's

  • @Hildron101010 yeah i have 4.26 GB of recordings

  • @Hildron101010 Just because you have more Ram doesn't mean your computer is utilising it. There are ways to alter you setting and boot more to your ram at start up...

  • @CitizenBeta2 If you are using intensive applications the RAM will be utilized a lot more. Bottom line, it's better to have more RAM. Let's just keep it that simple. I've used a computer that had a GB less than the OS requirement, and it was such a pain in the ass to use because it hung during every single thing. With 2 GBs, it didn't hang one bit.

  • @Hildron101010 Oh yeah for sure tottaly agree.

But it wont always help I mean say if you're systems slow but you have enough RAM and rarely fully utilise it, adding more RAM wont help unless you make changes to how your system utilises the RAM.

  • @CitizenBeta2 That's what I'm saying in the video. More RAM doesn't help unless the system is set to utilize more. Having a 64-bit system does that, and you can have up to 16 EB of RAM. Which is pretty much unlimited, and it will be unlimited for personal computer users for, probably, 5-7 decades or so.

  • @muchamariam1 Unless you're paraphrasing that Bill Gates quote, then that's funny.

  • @muchamariam1 I have 6 GB of DDR3-1333, and once I took out my 2GB module to use to test another system, and I noticed that my performance was MUCH worse with only 4 GB. When I put the module back in, my performance returned to normal.

  • @misternumberuno oh thats possible but i think it depends on the processing speed too

  • @muchamariam1 Really? the Clock Speed of the processor? The CPU used in the system was an Intel Pentium D Dual-Core 820 @2800 MHZ.

  • First: thx for the vid! but i have a question, I have a core i3 notebook, it came with windows 7 32bit (home basic), but the seller claims that i can install a 64 bit version (home premium), so the thing is that it has 3gb of drr3 1060mhz memory, and I've heard that I've heard that for 64bit versions the computer must have at least 2gb, leaving me with only 1gb for my multitasking work during the day. Do I have to buy more ram in order to install w7hp 64bit?

  • @plessso both 64-bit and 32-bit versions of windows 7 and Vista run well on 1 GB RAM. If you have 3 GB, that is enough. Who told you that the just the plain OS would use all of 2GB ram?

  • @misternumberuno Vista, 32 or 64 uses 2GB of ram for itself, this is why it is general knowledge that vista is trash, bit doesn't matter its still 2gb with vista

Win7 uses 1-1.2gb, saying vista runs well on 1gb is not true, it runs like a snail..

  • i thought 32x only supported up to 3gb of memory. I guess im wrong lol

  • @XBLChubbySkunk Well it is 3.25 GB technically. You can see in the description that I changed some info, or you can see my updated video about bits.

  • @Hildron101010

oooh i see. Well that makes sense, my old 32x desktop has 4gb of ram but it says 3.xx usable. Thanks for explaining

  • @XBLChubbySkunk Technically, 32 bit can use up to 4GB. However, most of the time the OS in a 32-bit system with 4GB ram will only recognize 3 to 3.75 GB of memory. However, I once used windows 7 ultimate 32-bit in a PC with a 64-bit CPU and 4GB of RAM, and the OS recognized and used all 4 Gigabytes. I suppose that might be because the CPU I used was 64-bit, but It was still technically a 32-bit system because the OS was 32-bit.

  • 64-BIT FTW!!!

  • what which is better 32 or 64, message me ^^

  • what ever nice vid... can you compare clock speed and difference in newer processors... does clock speed increase,, reply as soon as possible

  • i dont think many people use 16 terabytes of ram

  • 47 ppl doesnt have a compputer

  • @XxAwSoMeDuDe11xX so how can they watch this vid?

  • @gangsta97943 their friends computer or ipod. or phone or anything else exept computers.

  • @XxAwSoMeDuDe11xX its way better if ur comment is 47 ppl have a 16 bit computer

  • @Hildron101010 First thing good vid! But 64-bit is only better if your computer requires a lot of ram. If your computer is mainly for surfing and writing, 32-bit will be more usefull, cause its easier to get programs to work with it

  • @VMord Well not entirely. 64 bit not only allows for more RAM, but it allows for much faster computation. In addition, software does have problems with certain versions being able to run on each architecture, but if you use OS X, you don't have to worry about it. 64 bit 32 bit work side by side, with full speed, and no issues.

  • AHHAAAAAAAAaaAAAa. 64BIT BE MINE.

  • Does anyone know if a 64 bit graphics card works in 32 bit OS?

  • i didn't know this.... thanks man;)

  • noob trugh PAE the os can support more then 4GB in 32bit mode so test it on windows server 2003

  • @forenhostnet Don't call me a noob. This video was made years ago and about 99.99% of computer users don't even know what that is.

  • @Hildron101010 thats not the point the point is that its not true that 64bit only supports moren then 4gigs of ram and an app size of 2,3 mb, so test it with server 2003 datacenter ...

  • @forenhostnet PAE is 36-Bit.

  • @forenhostnet isnt that a 36 bit?

  • @SuperMuddiger PAE is 32bit ists only an eytended register i had a pentium IV non 64bit support and ran a server with 5GB RAM on server 2003 OS

  • 64 bit data is longer than 32 so if you have same port (ex : 8 bit line) 32 bit would kick-ass the 64

is it easier to unload 64kg of apples than 32 kg ?

but if you have 64 men it is still the same 32 would be double fast

  • @JohnMinigun I really think you are misinterpreting how 64-bit works. Just run some legit benchmarks or something, you'll see that 64-bit is a lot faster. I know it is. For example, I am a Final Cut user, and the previous versions of Final Cut were 32-bit. When Apple brought out Final Cut Pro X, it was 64-bit. This allowed it to perform more than 2x faster because it could then utilize a bunch of new OS X APIs.

  • @Hildron101010 sooo 64bit would have a good effect on pc games?

  • @BeastlyRig Only if the game is 64 bit. If not, no speed difference will be seen.

  • @JohnMinigun Dude, what you're saying is totally different to what the video is implying....64 bit technology and 64 kg are very different....your theory is wrong

  • idd i have 32 bit wind 7 with 4 gb mem but i can use only 3.2 or 3.25 gb of mem!

  • More ram doesnt make a computer faster it just allows it to use larger projects, larger game maps.

  • @FunnyVideoCollector It makes it faster in the aspect that you can have multiple things open at once and still have the system perform faster than normal.

  • when i am playign pc games my computer often shuts the program down. i have a good video card and decent internet connectiobn is it because im am on a 32 bit processor?

  • I wonder what would the rest of the PC contain if you had 16TB of RAM. :D

  • very nice video.. keep it up man!!!

  • 32 bits only 3gb ram, not 4gb

  • @pelavcp Actually, thats not true either. Please read the description or watch my updated video.

  • @Hildron101010 ok!

  • dudes get the 64 bit version of windows XP its so much better

  • lol, i am on 32 bit and its really slow.....i have vista, but not installed (64 bit)...i will install it soon

  • ...What about PAE? also most users never get around to using even 3gb let alone more than 4gb of ram. Speed is also not an issue since consumers wont have any need for more speed. But wait! What about video games? Well, most games are still 32-bit... and they wouldn't use that much ram anyways. In the end, unless you have a very specific task to accomplish that you know needs a 64-bit system, you shouldnt worry.

  • My windows 95 is super slow

  • I have Windows 7 64 bit with 4GB of ram.

  • And if I have a 32 bit CPU then will 32 & 64 bit OS give me same results.

  • @ysinghs You cannot install a 64 bit Os using a 32 bit cpu. Only the oposite.

  • Do not forget PAE and it is prooven faster than 64bit systems in some cases. PAE makes use of artificial registers and allows for ~64gb of ram on a 32 bit computer. And most OS'es supports it nowdays. Windows NT4 and onwards, Linux 2.4 and newer. BSD since forever. Solaris since about that number was available basicly. There is an artifical limit on the PRO and home Versions of windows though, and they can only PAE to about 3,5gb ram. Whilst the server offerings can utilize alot more.

  • Just tell me if I have 2 gb of ram then does a 32 bit vs 62 bit discussion concern me

  • @ysinghs For RAM, no, but if you have a 64 bit CPU, a 64 bit OS would be nice to have more speed.

  • I use 64-Bit and it is super fast! It can support all of my 32-bit apps.

  • k ty

  • my system can use 64 bit but i didn't know how to make it 64 so i made it 32 :(

  • ruud learn english xD ok, press ur start button , if u have windows vista or 7 search for "system" then u can see which system u have :)

  • can anyone made a bit tester so i know what bit my pc is???

  • so, 64-bit is much much better ?

  • @aeroaa2 no

  • @aeroaa2 If you have or are planning to have more than 4 GB of RAM, then yes.

  • 16 TB of RAM is more than enough to make a TNT explosion in Minecraft that literally destroys the whole map which is 10x bigger than the earth. With 0 lag.

  • The *main* difference between 32 and 64 bit machines is the bit-width of the internal registers such as AX, BX, CX, and so forth.

  • I wanna ask something.Im with 32 bit version. If i am on 64 bit version will games need more ram .Pls answer me

  • @Andreytsvetkov33 No, games will not need more RAM.

  • thanks a lot sharing knowledge

  • dislike bar is 32 bit users....

  • LIER 32 IS BETTER

  • @thekillersan889 No, it is not. It is way slower and it can't use as much memory.

  • ... my computer have 32 and more then 4 memory.. cuz mine is better and have over 30 TB and much more ..

  • @thekillersan889 You may have 4 GB of memory, however, you cannot use it all because 32-bit is not capable of that. You are wasting hardware.

  • @Hildron101010 i have 4gb, 10gb, 16gb and 15gb, 3 gb, and 1 gb memory...

  • @thekillersan889 You can't have so many different variations of memory in one computer.

  • @Hildron101010 haha my computer can..

  • @thekillersan889 I don't think we're on the same page here. Your computer, with any or all of the DIMM slots occupied, and added together, they can not have different amounts of RAM (memory). It is all totaled together. You must be making a mistake on the information you are giving me.

  • @Hildron101010 You are just mad at me because my computer is better than yours ;)

  • @thekillersan889 Nope, I am not mad. I am just saying you are giving me wrong information. And even if you did have that much RAM, you couldn't even use it if you are on 32-bit. So please get your information straight before you comment.

  • @Hildron101010 I have 49 GB of RAM and I use everything except 1 gb. Plus, over 30 tb hard drive that works fast.

  • @thekillersan889 The 30 TB HD does not play a role in this. Hard drives don't matter in this situation. You also may have all of that RAM, but how are you having it addressed if you are on a 32-bit system?

  • @Hildron101010 haha good question. but we're talking a different day. should go to my job now:) I'm five minutes late.

  • @thekillersan889 You're an idiot... even the most expensive motherboards only have 6 and very rarely 8 slots for RAM.. the largest commercial stick you can buy is 4GB and last time i checked 8x4 < 49GB.. you can't possibly have that much RAM in your system. And besides that, 30TB HDDs do not exist. You could probably connect a load together using RAID but i doubt you even know what that is..

  • @RoseBushMusicStudios you are here the idiot.. it's not just me who has that much RAM and GB on my computer .. I'm not a poor gay like you and has only 1 GB of RAM and 10 GB .. so if you do not think that's 30TB, do not you think that there is one petabyte ...

  • @thekillersan889 lol.. my computer has 24GB thanks, and the whole rig is worth £6k or about $9k depending where you're from, i dont get why you're bothering lying about how "good" your PC is tbh :') makes me laugh.. and i have only got 1TB drive but its a PCI-E SSD which has around 1500MB read/write speeds.. which would obliterate a 30TB HDD even if you had 30 of them in RAID.. and dunno what you're talking about petabyte's for tbh.. noone has anything that large in size yet..

  • @RoseBushMusicStudios the internet consists of petabyte's of data :P but what you said was correct, "lol.. my computer has 24GB thanks, and the whole rig is worth £6k or about $9k depending where you're from, i dont get why you're bothering lying about how "good" your PC is tbh :') makes me laugh.. and i have only got 1TB drive but its a PCI-E SSD which has around 1500MB read/write speeds.. which would obliterate a 30TB HDD even if you had 30 of them in RAID"

  • @rockman378 dont bother with that guy hes a fagget

  • @RoseBushMusicStudios and who paid for it? ur parents? at least i can pay for my own shit

  • @PoliteCitizen No actually.. All of my computer build minus the sound card (which was a present) was paid for out of my own pocket.. cus i actually bothered to go get a good job in my gap year

  • Win7 x64 is goddamn faster than x86 xp or 7 ! Even if you have less than 4gb. Infact i have 2 gb and the increase i got from x86 xp to x64 7 was immense! Everything from gaming to multitasking got a boost.

    PC SPEC: c2d 2.53 ; 2 gb ddr2 ; 8800gts 320 mb !

  • 32-bit works better than 64-bit, dont know why put i does.

  • "In computing, Physical Address Extension (PAE) is a feature to allow (32-bit) x86 processors to access a physical address space (including random access memory and memory mapped devices) larger than 4 gigabytes."

Windows PAE is artificially limited by microsoft. But Linux...

"The Linux kernel includes full PAE mode support starting with version 2.3.23,[6] enabling access of up to 64 GB of memory on 32-bit machines. "

  • @derbuffer At least someone read the manual! Otherwise : a complete nonsense is what this video clip is best described as.

  • Should i get a 64 bit dual core amd? Or get a quad core 32?? Please Someone answer!

  • @legoman3342 nonsense. its the opperating system you get. both AMD and intel have 64 bit support. also 64 bit is best to utilize the RAM's capicity, and it is future proof.

  • @snk9045 Oh sweet, thanks man!

  • i am pretty sure my system can run 64 bit how do i get 64 bit do i download it or buy it?

  • @TheUnknownD You'll have to buy a 64-bit OS and make sure you have a CPU that is capable of 64-bit.
