I actually played zero before this one, my friend told me about it and I'm glad he did. Having been of fan of disgaea and Air Tonelico I loved playing Record of Agarest War Zero. It's too bad though that it didn't get more publication, it's so in the shadows when I recommended it to a few friends they had to research it to find out it even existed.

That being said I don't think it's obnoxious in anyway with it's suggestive sexual humor, it's all fan service. I enjoyed the adult theme.

I don't remember when I bought this game, but I remember how I had the option of buying this game, or the 3rd Birthday.

And, as a girl, I was totally not expecting all the fanservice. It's not like I was put off. Hell, it made me laugh. I even took the game to school to show people how Fyuria was pretty much naked and that strap on her chest was unnecessary and it didn't do any protecting.

But this is a great game :3

I'm glad the next Record of Agarest War is not going to be marketed like this. All the ads made everyone think that the first one was nothing but porn smut which was absolutely wrong. As someone who actually played it, the only sexual stuff was all suggestive which only came as a single picture every 2-4 hours. Some of the situations were also missible too.

Just a question since you use it alot, are you using the term JRPG to describe a style of game or just an rpg from japan?
