it's just understanding the balance of grip and speed... driving like this IRL will have y our tires gone in 10 minutes... but tire grip in the game is infinite so you can just burn out all day... understanding this balance helps ya become a better driver.
not really about how fast your going... its really about how you can control the drift.... seen people drifting on the viper... but that just looks too fast.... and if you really went that speed you would just crash.

It looks like GT Pro is more slow motion compared to NFSC, and doesn't require that much of reflexes that NFSC seems to do) Check out the two vids I've upped so far of my GT Pro drifting if you want...
Well if you like realism it ain't your kinda game ;) Graphics are horrible but it's kinda fun to race since you feel like a pro when you get the hang of the drifting, cause it's so easy. But I wouldn't recommend paying full price for it :)
Yeah i hear ya, the only real trick is getting those multipliers and holding on to them for as long as possible. 10x multipliers on a drift track and 20x multipliers on a mountain downhill. Pick a good car, tune it the way you like, and just keep practice'n the downhill. anyone could break a million easy in this game.

Good question. i've been drifting with a few of the other cars now but i have to say muscle cars are the best for getting the most points down a canyon drift. All that torque gets you points really easy. Exotics and Tuners have it beat for control but if you can run a muscle car all the way down you really get a lot more points.
the first time i did this run i got 2.7M only using conservative drifting. But because of this video game your cars tires do not wear out. i used a more aggressive style that you can see from the first 5 turns. This gives you a boost of points which i used to beat my old high score.
With this vid i've accomplished what i set out to do. It took me a few days but i set up youtube with a high score on each of the downhill drift maps on NFS:Carbon. By putting the videos up i realized that 3 million is possible on certain downhill maps. This will be the last one i put up for a while. Enjoy.
