Google for IL2 graphic guides and you can learn how to turn this nice water on.. It's a simple edit of a config file.

Make sure to do it under the OpenGL settings in the config file. Make sure you enabled hardware shaders. Also make sure you have a new enough video card that supports PixelShaders 1.0. PixelShaders 2.0 are preferable and 3.0 is current.

Intel® 915G current version specifically. i don't have those ATI or Ndiva cards and have no clue wat they are. how do you get them or does it even work with windows XP

ATI and nVidia both work with XP. But based on the your knowledge displayed so far of computers I wouldn't bother buying a modern graphics card because I seriously doubt your motherboard supports PCI Express or that you even know what I'm talking about.

Probably an issue with the game rather than your flying ability, but at 04:12 the second corsair should not be able to hold that position-the slipstream from the first one will see to that-one of the reasons a formation of planes is staggered.

- In order to fly the nomad you have to mod your server config.ini

- We did not have to download it, because it's already in the game as an AI plane

- All stunts were performed in realism settings. Sometimes HotView was used ([shift] + [f2])

- I set all internal graphic settings to the hightest option possible, and changed the water setting in the .ini

- Landing that B25 even worked with BOMBS on it, you just have to come in slow enough and use your brakes to the limit

Thanks for the answers. I couldn't find out how to mod the ini file so I could play with the AI planes, but I already guess they don't have cockpit views and other features that the flyable planes have... Anyways, could you tell me how to do so? I have the 4.07m version (IL2 Sturmovik 1946)...

Yo FSPilotsUK for recording you can use Fraps, Gamecam or Camstudio. But all will need a good PC. I used Fraps and for the scene with 4 carriers i had to turn down the shadows and the water. (System: AMD 3500+, 1gb RAM, GeForce 6800GT)

The config ini. file should be the 3rd or 4th item listed AFTER the folders.

Then go near the bottom of the list. Under the heading of OPEN GL you'll see water listed. Change it to 2,3 or 4 depending on you're GFX card.

ok two things, when the b25 landed ya right because you just had the thing touchdown not fully stop. Otherwise there would have been some puff of smoke shown. and when the b25

it doesnt show smoke in IL-2 when you land. I knew that this would come one day. During the editing, i changend the camera while the b25 was not stopped yet. So, yeah, it acutally made it to stop completely, and if you want, and if I have some time one day, i can upload the proof video to youtube, which show the complete landing to stop in only one perspective

It's the WW2 simulation with the most planes. If you have all addons installed, it gives you more than 100 planes, for sure. You can fight with all german planes

and have allies planes by your side
