Even advanced cranes of today cant build the pyramids, and statues like the ones on easter island. some sort of high power must of helped us...take a deep look in to your history and research the ancient demi gods called the nephilim..a giant humaniod race which battled with man endlessly threw out time ( david and goliath). maybe they helped or even built the stuctures themselfs.

it was a 3 part each 50 mins long, and he presenter was plotting them on a map and showing how they are all 47 degrees apart (or something).

Along with Tahitians, Hawai'ians, Tongans, Samoans, Marquesans (and some other small Pacific island inhabitants) the Rapa Nui and Maori are all Polynesian people. The ancient Polynesian peoples' skills of long distance navigation (as well as their culture and art) are truly remarkable indeed. There is evidence that the Polynesians even reached the Americas and back (returning with the Kumara). Amazing.

the rapanui are not savages. they are a part of the Austronesian cultural sphere. and us Austronesian's have a very intelligent, sophisticated and advanced culture. no other people in the ancient world had the guts and the minds to sail and colonize an area as large as we did.
Rapanui were able to build these statues because of they're intelligence.
