jon corabi was GREAT in motley crue. that is my favirite album by them. it is the heviest and tommy lees best drums to. i play desk drums but am bad. my mom said if you dont try you cant fail. bye
My band Pictureyes, just did a couple of songs with Corabi on our new record. I wasn't familiar with him, but I can tell you that guy is amazing! Every take he did vocally was a keeper. AND he's totally down to earth. He's working on a new album too. Heard some rough tracks, keep on the look out!
Thanks for the heads-up on your record. I'll have to check it out. Corabi is an amazing musican. I think he was much under rated in the bands he has been in. He said he was starting to work on a CD 3 yrs ago, when I did this video. I've been watching for it every since. I'm hoping Crash is on it. I love that song and it is of yet unrecorded. I have a video of it up from the same show as this one.
This is the only version I have ever heard of this song that comes close to being as good as Fleetwood Mac's live version on "The Dance" album. Heck, even the original studio recording doesn't compare.
Dilana continues to blow me away with her versatility. She has similar range to Stevie and nails this with a subdued (for her) performance that is very pretty. Like Tina Turner she can switch to "rough" at any time and "out Janis" Joplin. One of the most versatile artists around
John Corabi is a musical genius. It's a shame this guy is not more known to the mainstream. His album with Motley Crue was BRILLIANT. He gelled with Nikki Sixx so well.
That is very true about his LP with the Crue. John has talent, obviously too much for the Crue. But as you know it is a "cash grab" with Vince and that is what the people and theirr management want. Welcome to the ulgy business that is the music business...
I don't think he has too much talent for Motley Crue, that's not what I meant at all. Nikki Sixx is one of the most amazing songwriters of the last 30 years and I believe Tommy Lee is THE best drummer alive today. Crab made them a different band. Had they come up with a new name, it might have lasted longer. That was 1994. Hardcore Crue fans wouldn't accept it because it wasn't with Vince. The new fanbase that SHOULD have liked it, didn't because it was "Motley Crue". It was a no win situation.
I really loved her on Rock Star Supernova. She is the new Stevie Nicks. I didnt' think there would be anyone to sing like Stevie, but Dilana Smith does and can't wait for her album to come out. Laura
what a beautiful voice :)

@clm1224 You said it dude, Crabs is about as under rated as they come. Every song on that Motley Crue record from 94 is heavy and great.
