WHERE !! a couple of presses a few muskets and a lot of falling over typical sealed knot ,I was in the ECWS when we had 50 - 70 in each pike block not 10 and blood and bruises were expected always .

I think it's because the men fought not just because a Lord or MP raised a company but because they had a right to choose who Ruled?

And in the American Civil War men were swept up in Nationalism, personal beliefs of state and individual rights and the crusade against Slavery?
