  • The game is great and uses 3D effects intelligently, also it plays well built from the ground up for 3DS. I prefer the 3DS version for it portability and the great 3D effects. Anyhow just finished the game a couple hours a go and I rate it 9 out of 10, if your looking for a deep dense game for 3DS this one is a nice candidate aside from Resident Evil Revelations.

  • what place are you at? i saw a sighn:wii party. is it in houston or newyork rockfeller plaza?

  • 3d butts

  • Bought the game and I'm really disappointed with the frame rate.

  • So what would you recomment gettin. A 3ds or the new PSvista when it comes out???

  • @TheEroselvor I wouldn't recommend you get any system for just one game. Figure out whether 3DS or Vita has a stronger lineup for you, then decide. Vita will have the superior version of Snake Eater though, not to mention several other Metal Gear games bundled as well. Just don't ever rush to buy one system just because of one particular game. That's never a good thing.

  • @granvillimus how do you know Vita will have a better snake eater?? Did someone mention it? I agree that rushing to buy a system is never a good thing...high price, lack of games and sometimes bugs/ hardware problems...wait a couple a months to a year and bam! its cheaper and has better games

  • @Faltzerbeast90 I'm not saying people shouldn't buy a 3DS, far from it. I have one and highly recommend it based on the current and upcoming game library. This particular game is just a bad one. If you wanted a decent Snake Eater port, the Vita version is sure to be the better version. It's ported from the PS3 version. 3DS has plenty of other great games. I'd say it interests me more than the Vita at this point, but this is not one of the better games.

  • @granvillimus Actually the vita is a watered down port of the "HD" collection. I have that collection and the only thing HD about it are very few of the textures, 60fps, and some sharpness. And the Vita cannot support the full HD of the ps3. The 3DS version however, has updated voice acting and lots of new textures as well as some completely new 3d models and improved graphics. The only thing worse is that it's only 30fps, which in my opinion is better because it adds a bit of character.

  • @pringlesguy1 I can't speak much for the Vita version, but yeah it was a given that it wouldn't really be HD. Vita's screen is one quarter of full HD. And at least two games don't even play at Vita's native resolution. I had a go with the 3DS version's demo today, and it's looking better than i expected. Still not as good as this tech demo, but it's at least looking like a solid PS2 adaptation. And the demo is the ancient E3 build too. The game has improved a lot since then.

  • Check out the new video Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D - JP Demo Footage (HQ) It looks way better than the Naked Sample.

  • @qg786 It looks worse. The demo shows that the game went from a promising remake (Naked Sample) to a downgraded port of the PS2 version. Lower polygon models, worse texture quality, and worst of all, a crappy framerate. This video isn't even a good quality version of the Naked Sample, there's a direct feed one floating around showing how amazing it looked.

  • For future reference to anyone, don't toss insults around on my videos. We can all get along and discuss this rationally, but only if you refrain from the immaturity super58173 displayed. Calling someone a fanboy for stating facts is not a valid argument and i shall block that nonsense. I'm happy to show respect to people who show others the same respect. Fair warning, antagonistic comments will be deleted.

  • @super58173 If you knew about flash, they you wouldn't have been so surprised a cartridge could hold more data than a PS2 disk. I removed the posts where you did nothing but insult other people. You have been given a fair warning to stop, now i'm blocking you from posting. It is an objective fact that the PS2 was the technically weakest system of last gen, no intelligent person argues this. 3DS is far more powerful. And the lower res screen wouldn't explain the crap framerate.

  • @super58173 Yes, this is a crappy port. You can drop the immature name calling, i'm removing the posts where you just trash people and will block you if you continue. I mentioned MicroSD because both it and DS/3DS cards use flash memory. There now exist flash memory available to the public at up to 64GB. 3DS games can pack as much content as a PS2 game, and are capable of more than that. Even Sony went with cartridges for Vita.

  • @super58173 No, it isn't. I love the PS2. For now, it remains one of the greatest systems ever made. But it wasn't ever very powerful even for its time. Even the Gamecube outdid it. The 3DS is a step above that. Numerous developers have confirmed 3DS is more powerful, and games have been made to showcase this. Basic specs even show this much. This is just crappy porting. As for the cartridge, flash memory is huge nowadays. You can get a MicroSD card with greater than bluray capacity.

  • I am honestly impressed.

They managed to stuff an entire game onto a tiny NINTENDO cart, one that requires the handheld to actively manage the AI, graphics, visual and sound effects, and its own touchscreen, gyroscope, and cameras without failing whenever it's on.

If only MORE third-party developers made games that USED the hardware to their advantage, pushed its limits; by taking the time to craft out the software, then the 3DS would have some real respect! Same with the PSP.

  • @super58173 3DS cartridges aren't tiny dude. MGS3 is using a 4GB cartridge, about identical to the size of the original MGS3 on PS2 (which came on a DVD). The game isn't very stressful compared to other more advanced games on the 3DS has, such as Capcom's games like Monster Hunter Tri G and Resident Evil Revelations. You have to realize that the 3DS is much more powerful than PS2.

  • @granvillimus - Nintendo carts are somewhat infamous for not being exactly large in bytes. I was talking about the literal size. You know, the amount of fucking plastic. Also, whether it's true or not, I'm not enough of a fanboy to say that it's more powerful than a PS2. Some other PS2 port, "Tales of the Abyss", if I recall, required new character models since the PS2 ones were too huge.

  • @super58173 It's not fanboyism it is REALITY

  • Is there any way to download the naked sample?

I want to play this sooo badly even if it isn't complete.

C'mon they let everyone try out the demo for mgs Peace Walker demo, and that wasn't even complete.

  • @qg786 Nope, Naked Sample was never released. And likely won't ever be since they scrapped it in favor of making the game a downgraded port. But all you could really do anyways was watch a real time cutscene and control the camera angle in it.

  • Check out the contest I found: goo.gl\oUcPQ if you want Nintendo 3DS.

  • Chceck out this website: goo.gl\kLPdk if yu want a free 3DS console.

  • Check out the contest I found: goo.gl\oUcPQ if you want Nintendo 3DS.

  • i hope the Crown3DS Flash Card comes out soon i wanna download this!

  • Two words: Can't wait.

  • @Turbylina Just want to let you know, but the real game looks considerably different than this. After the HD collection, Konami decided to cheap out and just port the PS2 version with no enhanced visuals. They outsourced it and decided to not put any effort into it. Go find some E3 2011 videos of it, they're a better example of the visuals than this. You'll likely be disappointed to know it now has a slow framerate and low res textures due to incompetence.

  • @granvillimus Guess so, but I'm still pretty excited to see how the game turns out.

  • @granvillimus

Why isn't the game out if all they did was port the PS2 version? Seriously I hope the 3d effect is at least good ....

  • @broskiskunk A couple of reasons actually. One is that they delayed it to add optional support for the Circle Pad Pro accessory (the addon which adds a second analog stick and extra buttons). Another reason is that they actually seem to still be making actual improvements to the visuals (to my surprise). The E3 2011 trailer showed heavy downgrades in lighting, environmental scenery, textures, etc. Plus a crappy framerate. Newer trailer indicate they've added those back now though.

  • @broskiskunk Um this game isnt a port of the PS2 version. Kojima has or still is making this as a remake;

  • @granvillimus is that true ?

ugh see nintendo is failing again. sure the ds sold more but graphically, psp assasinated the heck out of the DS. Nintendo has been way behind in graphics since the gamecube came out. And then when the 3ds came out i thought, man nintendo is actually gonna become the most powerful portable.

but then the developers get so lazy

like if nintendo claims that the 3ds has the power of the wii then why didnt they port sonic generations in full 3d like the big consoles

  • @jason854656 You really can't blame Nintendo for this game's failings though. Konami and Kojima (plus his team) are the ones making this. There was never a question about how powerful the 3DS was. It's compared to Wii but with superior shaders. The issue is that this port is just lazy, along with Sega's Generations port (which they didn't even make, they just handed it to Dimps). 3DS does have Wii power with some advantages. Capcom's games for example. Plus Nano Assault and others.

  • @granvillimus oh! well then how come the same developers put the same effort on the ds like they do with the psp? i mean 80 percent of psp games were full 3d graphics where as 85 percent of ds were 2d side scrolling

resident evil does look pretty bad ass though

  • @jason854656 Not sure what you mean there by the DS vs PSP comments. The DS was more fitting as a 2D machine for the most part though. You could make very nice looking 2D games for the system. 3D wise though it was lacking. Here however, you can pinpoint Konami's laziness with MGS3D because not only do we have other games on the same system from other developers which look a lot better, but also the tech demo in this video we're commenting on looks considerably better than it does now.

  • @granvillimus what i mean is, they got lazy with metal gear solid for the 3ds yet they put a HUGE effort for peace walker on the psp. or sega with the 360 and stuff , but for the 3ds they couldnt even make it in 3d like 80 percent is side scrolling. For modern sonic all they did was just tweak sonic and thats it

the levels and stuff are all the same

  • @jason854656 I understand now. I honestly expect as much from Sega, as i said they just handed Dimps the handheld version of Gen and didn't care (early on a developer even mentioned it sucked in earlier builds at least). But this usually happens anyways with new systems, developers are trying to cut costs and underperform. As usual, it will take a while for the GOOD library to accumulate.

  • @granvillimus Define what you mean by "lazy"?

Do you mean that Kojima just ported it from the PS2 version?

If it is then google this; "Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D will be a full remake optimized for 3DS" and its the first link on google news.

  • @qg786 Yes i mean he just ported it from the PS2 version, lazily. His comments make no sense. The game is essentially the exact same game from the PS2, only with downgraded textures, very bad framerate (optimized my ass), lower polygon character models, etc. Look up newer videos of the real game, it's nothing like this scrapped tech demo.

  • @granvillimus Then again the screen quality of the 3DS is crap compared to a PS2 as Nintendo tried to focus on the 3D rather than putting an OLED screen in. Nintendo are one step behind everyone else. I'm sure the HD Collection for the PS Vita will be better.

  • @qg786 Screen quality isn't actually much lower resolution than a PS2, especially as most PS2 games don't even use the full 480p resolution. That being said, 3DS games will look considerably better on the small 3DS screen than a PS2 game would look stretched to an HDTV, thanks to better pixel density. It's a given that the Vita collection will look better in every way, though the reason the 3DS version looks worse than PS2 is because of shitty porting (3DS is much more powerful than PS2).

  • @MrDubstepaholic I won't be eating anything because i'm not confirming or denying the rumor either way (you won't receive the same sort of amnesty if you end up being wrong). No rumor is true until it's confirmed. There were a lot of 3DS rumors stirring that never ended up happening (like Tegra being used as the CPU or that it's as powerful as PS3). Blocked btw, zero tolerance here for flaming. I warned you. I am no fanboy, i'm a huge Playstation lover. I like both Nintendo and Sony systems.

  • I bought this game yesterday (ps2 version) is better than most of the ps3 and xbox 360 games that I played, its a masterpiece :D I would love to play it on a 3DS while taking a shit

  • At the end, Snake gets sliced up like a onion

  • snake eater and ocarina of time?

    i need a 3ds....

  • are they going to be releasing 1 and 2 aswell or just 3.

  • @thesimpsons17 Only 3 for now apparently. Nothing to stop them from doing them all though, but nothing has been announced besides 3.

  • I played super street fighter 4 3D and i can say the 3D effects are AWESOME

  • They should put this trailer up in the Nintendo eShop

  • @TurnTheValve To piss off moronic Sony ponies like yourself of course, who have clearly never played a 3DS. Even in the 3DS menu itself, you can see popout effects. Thanks for showing us how much of a moron you are, you're a disgrace to gamers. If your eyes hurt, that's your problem. The majority of people have no issues with their eyes. I warned you that i would block idiots who post bullshit on my videos. *blocked*

  • when does this hit stores?

  • this is the best ps2 game ever made i cant wait to get it and when is the 3ds and the game coming out

  • it'll never be close to ps3 graphics. even the NGP aint close so this aint anywhere near. take a look at U2 again. the graphics are better than wii by the looks of it.

  • It looks Alot like the Ps3/Xbox360 just need to have alot less pixels floating around and the core speed. But than the 3d well probally llok really good. And at least it looks better than Wii and gamecube and psp/Ps2..

  • I wish it showed the bottom screen....

  • THE FEAR!

  • Well it can probally get close to 360 or ps3 graphics soon enough.. they just had enough time with it yet. I look forward to getting this!!

  • @Mydecembermydecember

Are you a fucking idiot? You can only view 3D in person. Did you drop out of school when you were a kid. =.=

  • this isn't even the finished product wow this is gonna be awesome when it comes out

  • this looks really impressive, just hoping its not fake

  • @granvillimus - Hows the graphic? From the video it looks alot better then the Nintendo Wii graphic. Just wondering since some say its close to PS3 graphic witch i doubt :)

  • @Danielgoksu Yeah, it's not up to par with 360 or PS3 (there's more to those systems' power than just the graphics btw). Geometry is around Gamecube level (maybe a bit higher). The shaders such as lighting and bump mapping, plus the texture and animation work are what makes the game look better than Wii. Definitely impressive, and it at least LOOKS far better than last gen consoles.

  • @granvillimus It looks like late PS2 graphics, just like the original.

  • @chiffmonkey It looks considerably better than the original. Go look up some pics of PS2 Snake Eater and compare them to the 3DS pics. Huge difference.

  • @granvillimus Wow, yes indeed! Ninty hitting gold yet again it seems :)

  • @granvillimus keep in mind that the 3ds has a much smaller screen that that used my ps2s, so it is a lot easier to make the games look good. the new psp coming out has graphics that will rival the ps3 due to this

  • @TheSolidEmo Actually, i'm going from the official 3DS GPU specs, which definitely put it above Gamecube. In polygon performance, it's a bit below Wii. But in terms of shaders (advanced lighting and bump mapping and such), it's actually above Wii. Also, Sony recently came out and said that the NGP was NOT able to rival PS3, that was hype spread by media sources. Nintendo and numerous others (plus hands on gamers and tech specs) have quoted that the 3DS is near or better than Wii graphics.

  • @TheSolidEmo I think you should wait a copule more days until the system itslef comes out. Trust me the 3d effects makes it Mostly on par with the Xbox360/Ps3...

  • @chiffmonkey The original can't even hold up ps2 graphics. lol....

  • @BeatlesColdplay Actually it can, have you played God of War? Ratchet and Clank? Crisis Core? Gran Turismo? And being tied to the crappy UMD storage size was why the games were so short.

  • @mydecembermydecember It is in 3D when viewed in person. But when using a camera to take a video, the 3D effect cannot be picked up. I posted this video not to show off the 3D effect, but the graphical quality of the 3DS. When you play the 3DS in person, the image will have 3D depth and pop out at you. But due to the fact that this camera couldn't record the 3D effect, that's why you can't see any 3D stuff. And while we're talking about it, take a chill pill and don't jump to conclusions...

  • @granvillimus I believe it uses the camera to track the position of your eyes, so as to produce a perspective image accordingly.

  • @granvillimus i wouldnt say it pops out at you, but you defeinately get a sense of depth, nothing in 3d looks like its coming out the screen, it just adds depth, it looks fucking amazing but it can fuck with your eyes and give you headaches, i played 3d for a full day on zelda, a few days later i couldnt play 3d for more than 5 minuites as i started to feel weird sensations behind my eyes and felt strained after about 4 minuites..... but it was on full so meh whatever

  • @MrDubstepaholic The 3D effect will give people different experiences. I myself have no headaches or any sort of dizziness at all. There are some instances of popout. Try the homescreen, some of the icons pop out. Specifically the pencil on activity log. It's very noticeable actually. Depth is the better normal 3D effect, but stuff can appear to be popping out as well. The AR games can do this as well. I also had a copy of Rayman 3D which did popout very well too.

  • @granvillimus maybe its just because ive only played ocarina of time, its not really designed for 3d so theres not realy any oportunities for popout, but yeah ive not seen it yet, i think i only get headaches when playing it if im tired, cos i played it this afternoon on full 3d for a good 2 hours and i was fine, and yeah the ar games do, i forgot about that, nintendo is also developing a new version of the 3ds with a 2nd analogue slider, it can also be bought as an add on which is good.

  • @MrDubstepaholic The analog addon and the new 3DS models are both rumors at this point, ones without any source whatsoever. Don't believe anything you hear on the internet unless it is officially announced. I don't think it makes good business sense to release a new version so soon.

  • @granvillimus they talk about it in a destructoid video (i cant remember which one) theres even conceptual designs for it, and nintendo confirmed it, part of the reason they reduced the 3ds' price was to just get the first batch off the shelves, the dual stick 3ds will be the standard model and will have longer battery life also and marketing will be less aimed at 3d as many see it as a gimmick (it kinda is) and the ps vita has dual sticks, they need to keep up it makes sense

  • @MrDubstepaholic No, Nintendo never confirmed such a thing. This rumor was started by a random site who claims they had confirmation from Nintendo. Destructoid, IGN, etc are all feeding from the same source. Nintendo themselves said they don't comment on rumor and speculation. For now, it remains a rumor and nothing else (very few of them end up coming true). Nintendo has never felt the need to "catch up" when it comes to hardware before (DS ring a bell?), can't fathom them starting now.

  • @mydecembermydecember are you stupid?

  • @dcoleman9550

Shut up idiot. Your not part of this okay.

  • @dcoleman9550

    <===8

  • @mydecembermydecember

    Eat Poop

  • @mydecembermydecember I think your brain is 1 D

  • @ggary04

hahahah everyone thinks you look retraded.

  • @mydecembermydecember You can see it's 3D because he was using a 2d video camera over a 3D screen.

Thats why it looks 2D on YouTube. So you have to look at it in person. When the 3DS comes out in March.

  • @mydecembermydecember a normal hand camera can't capture 3d smart-ass

  • For anyone else who would like to post bullshit in my comments section like Gothkid15, take note. Your comment will be removed and you will be blocked. No exceptions, no warnings, and no forgiveness. You're only wasting your time and will be dealt with accordingly.

  • @granvillimus Well...exccccccuuuuuuse me princess!

  • @jmorgs10 overpriced?

  • im going to start a clan or this game when it comes out.

  • Looks Like A Major Improvement Over The DS,

  • there we go again with Playstation and Xbox arguing, we all KNOW that they got better graphics, so? what after that? poor excuse for games with the difference of a few great ones, and yet you guys know if you trully love this serie will still get a 3ds and this game, even if you deny it!

  • @range567W Never played Ys 3 remake (heck, ANY of the Ys remakes) have we? Or Kirby Super Star Ultra, Donkey Kong (Gameboy), Dragon Quest 4/5/6 (DS), Final Fantasy 1 & 2 (Wonderswan/PS1/GBA/PSP), Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded (DS), Lunar 1/2 (PS1), Tales of Phantasia (PS1). Zelda OOT remake on 3DS also looks superior to the original. Honestly, if you're going to insult someone, bring the facts before making retarded comments. Blocked for sheer stupidity. Congrats.

  • @Starwind18020 thats physically impossible to do. i have tried.

  • holy shit that looks realistic

  • How hyper I am for 3DS, I remember when the wii was announced and ds, and I was skeptical about Nintendo but after all these 2 systems shaped the gamind industry, if you see now Microsoft and Sony are using sensing tech that is inspired by Wii. And now 3DS, Nintendo is leading the gamind industry.

I was so excited for wii and ds, but for 3ds OMG I can't wait.

  • @Crecendos

First Nintendo pretty much created gaming on NES (Console gaming at the very least)

    Then 64bit gaming with N64.

Then Console gaming as we know ti with Gamecube

    Then Portable Gaming on GameBoy

Then Motion gaming on the Wii

    Now they're gonna create Glasses-free 3d Gaming

  • @ls600h1

Atari 2600 and Magnavox Odyssee in the 1970s - Consoles

Nintendo Game and Watch - Handhelds (Though it was not 1st)

    Atari Jaguar - 64bit console

  • awesome graphics this is gonna make sonys ball shrink

  • 0:54 can see her nipples

  • @Starwind18020 HOLY FAWKINGSERIOUS SHIT!!!!

  • dang this is a pretty good remake >.<

  • Seeing this makes me want to have Subsistence instead of Snake Eater.

  • I'm excited about the 3DS!,

And this great game to, but i Just hope they don't do the same ting they did with the MGS 1 remake on the Gamecube,

I want MGS 3D with the same cutscenes and the same soundtrack of MGS 3 Snake Eater, not like the remake of MGS1 for the Gamecube were they changed everything,

  • I'm surprised at this... I hope this comes to the PSP2 when it comes out.

  • I'd only buy a 3DS just for this, my favorite installment in the main series.

  • Comment removed

  • Man I hope they include online play as well. MGO was pretty awesome. Too bad they took down the servers..

  • Ladies and gentlemen...The reason to get a Nintendo 3DS

If this game ever becomes more than a sample that is..

  • This was jus a demo to test the power of the 3DS. They sed theyre making a BRAND NEW MGS for 3DS =D!

  • @narutocursemark no thy're not. They're remaking MGS3 and not even in 3d.

  • @bluetooth718 Yea dey r. Theyre not remaking it god damnit notice I said THEY as in the creators.

  • Better be more Easter eggs as welll

  • @KILLASEASON000 stop kidding yourself. shit looks better on the 3ds..lol

  • graphics need to improve nintendo always fuck up on graphics

  • it pisses me off so much that we can't see the 3d from youtube videos -.-

  • @KILLASEASON000 too bad nintendo's 64 kicked the shit out of the ps2

  • あの感動作が3DSで登場か。これは買わなければならないな。あのMr.БЕИとも再び戦えるのが楽しみだ(笑)

    ただ残念なのがこのスネークはPWより若いはずなのに対して変わらないことだな...

  • an whats that ring around snaKe?

  • BUT ICANT WAIT FOR THIS F***KING THING TO COME OUT!!!! o can see myself now opening the box. its only dawn outside couse i get up early before there sold out. and putting in watever game i get for it.... thats a peacfull thought...GAHHHH!!!

  • if ou look to the left of the ds in the beginning of the video, and when snake is waking on the bridge.you can see a red glare.mabe its just glare off the lights. but it might be the camera separating the frames for the 3d effect...if its that. then you can picture what its gonna look like in real life.

  • holy cwap these graphics are waaaaaaaay better then the ds graphics!!

  • True that MGS3 is best on PS2 always. Like MGS1 was better than MGS: Twin Snakes (only better graphics). I think its a good idea. I mean.....some people love the game. BUT GUYS!!! ITS F***ING 3D FOR GOD SAKE!!!!

  • Nintendo is lucky there getting all the good games on there 3DS!

But i still have no reason to get this system. :L

  • @YoMommazBoi ur loss.

  • XOXOXOXO......... Super Cool..

  • This 3ds version better have the mother fucking loooong ladder like in the original game. For anyone who has played it you know what i mean :)

  • @KILLASEASON000 Best? How can a game be better than a game that isn't even released? Fail... PS2 kicks ass, but massive fail anyways.

  • @granvillimus ähm.. he means, mgs 3... on ps2 because its out.. its better then other games on ps2.. And i bet he want to say, its great, that it comes for 3ds..

  • @SONGOKU02 Read his other comment, he's an idiot. There exist remakes far superior to the original (Kirby Super Star Ultra for example).

  • @granvillimus jeah. But as example.. mgs1 was great on the gamecube.. but the original was better. ^^ And this one. I think the ps2 version (Subsistence) would be better. But this is an great remake for on the road.^^and 3D!

  • @granvillimus What? That doesn't make sense. He's saying that Metal Gear Solid 3 is the best PS2 game.

  • @bradbuiltthecross I'm not saying anything about the game. And neither did he. He said the 3DS version will never be as good as the original. That's pretty dumb.

  • @granvillimus Yeah, some remakes are better than the originals, but unless it's a remake for the PS3 with the gameplay style of MGS4, then it's not better. MGS3 is the best pre-MGS4 stealth action game of all time.

  • I hope nintendo is planning a new wii

  • Bye Bye PSP

  • @xarlygen

    LOL bye bye indeed

  • You can't be serious. I had no idea about this. Dude this freaking thing now has every one of my favorite games of all time. SF64, MGS3, OOT, wow...next thing you know they'll announce the remake of FF7 for it

  • @VysetheBattleMaster BLASPHEMY! or maybe they'll port dissidia to it, although i really don't like dissidia. they should just make a hack and slashing game for sephiroth where he cuts stuff (dynasty warriors, street fighters, your entire party, large buildings, gundams, planets, etc.). that is the basis of entertainment.

  • @VysetheBattleMaster damn straight...if they made a remake of FF7...their hardware sales would sky rocket...

  • that game look sick i got to get the 3ds wwl???

  • This isn't playable, but the animations and everything is being rendered in realtime. The demo allowed people to change the angle as they please, so nothing was pre-rendered. This is what a game would look like on the 3DS.

It seems reasonable. The hardware powering it are pushing it beyond the Wii, even with the 3D effect considered. 2011 will be a great year!

  • I hope this will be a full game, I don't have a PS2 so I can't play Snake Eater but I have plans on buying a 3DS And I hope I can play Snake Eater on the 3DS

  • That first bee is amazing!

  • no reamakes!

  • Who's to say whether or not those are gameplay graphics? Nintendo hasn't released any specs yet so you don't even know...

  • @Anonymous5842 This isn't technically gameplay, but the graphics you see here are being rendered in real time. Notice how you can move the camera in any direction during the demo, that's how you know that these are "ingame" graphics. You can't control the character, but it's what a real game will indeed look like. And we do know basics on how powerful the 3DS is. The GPU is a PICA200 chip and capable of similar graphics to Wii. Has some advanced shaders that even Wii can't do as well.

  • @granvillimus next june 10th ill get a 3ds for sure!!!

  • @Starwind18020 maybe in this game, but in monster hunter they are vespoid's.

  • Those flying bugs are vespoid's from monster hunter except they're smaller here.

  • the killer question is: is mgs3 being ported or remade? let's hope it's the first one, so this way we're more likely to have aditional benefits...

  • @FernandoH321

So far it's just a tech demo to show off what the 3DS can do. Konami never said if they are doing either a port or a remake.

But I would love to see the second screen used for the survival viewer, so I'm hoping they actually make this game.

  • @BloodlustKid True, in my excitement I forgot to check this... but as the comercial interest is very big, my bet is that it will eventually become a reality, not just a tech demo.

  • @BloodlustKid

actually they did, Kojima announced it at E3, it had some long ass name though :)

  • yeah you could play 3D movies on it

  • 3ds needs a USB slot do it's easier to put music on.. Oh will this b able to play movies?
