  • Wolverine's my favorite comic book character of all time.

  • can you do an origin video of X-23?

  • wolverine. best canadian ever.

  • @breasthound yes best if you dont count deadpool

  • can u do luke cage

  • Wolverine my love <3

  • @Rodanscontrails Think of it this way wolverine's healing factor might have an affect for the opening's for his claws so it might heal the opening's shut so that's my thought on it

  • can you make a video about the origins of Harley Quinn ?

  • he's the vegeta of the marvel universe...also both are 5'3.

  • So it wasn't stryker who ave him metal bones, it was Abraham Cornelious!

Honestly this habit with changing stories...

  • @Kaseylloydvlogs21 Supervillan orgins: Spidey Doppelgangner please?

  • Left out his hyper-senses.

  • you shoul do a origins story on robin

  • @megadethisbest123 The good one or the other ones?

  • @Kaseylloydvlogs21 Thanks for the request. He has been suggested before so we will consider him.

  • @WatchMojo you guys should make a supervillain origins for Hush.

  • Also Wolverine does not have superhuman strength. Incredible strength yes. That one thing that made Logan awesome. Not superhuman and still wanted to fight the Hulk.

  • @Rodanscontrails he has high human strength which way different than superhuman strength like batman he has high human stregth

  • @Rodanscontrails just "incredible"? do you know how much he weighs and look at all the things he can do? an adamantium skeleton...idk man sounds pretty superhuman to me, i remember seeing somewhere i think he weights over 300 pounds.. lol

  • Origins was a lousy story line. Wolverine's claws should never of been answered. Day's of Future past clearly showed a housing for the claws, and the Genosha storyline Logan was bleeding from his hands where his claws unsheath. If this was natural this would not happen. Cats that can extend their claws do not bleed. The comics today are a shadow of what they once were.

  • @Rodanscontrails

Yeah, Marvel completely ruined Wolverine forever. If I ever made it to Marvel the first thing I would do is change everything they have done with him since the bone claws.Since its now a corporation ran by Disney, I'm just going to start illustrating my own Wolverine comics.

  • Besides Wolerine Would Be Born Earlier in time not the 19th century his mutant healing shows him finally aging in the 21st century

  • Can you guys do X force origins when logan leaves the x men for the x force

  • i see a freddie mercury toy in the background ^^

  • I know it has most likely been said, but Wolverine does not have super strength.

  • @TheYankeeMarshal true but he is hella strong

  • Wolverine makes short people like me (5'5) the confidence to take down the biggest out there, if it so comes to that. However I should really get a reality check that despite his height, its not like I weigh anywhere near 300 lbs, can heal myself, have an unbreakable skeleton and can move around like I'm weightless.

  • @MegaNinjaNick

Now he is Hugh Jackman 6'4. Garbage.

  • so then, how exactly did he lost his memory?

  • @impactoprofundo

The adamantium bonding and the severe brainwashing of Weapon X did that to him.

  • @impactoprofundo In the movie, Major Stryker shoots Wolverine in the head with an adamantium bullet that wipes his entire memory.

  • @chewbacawaka

and that is dumb as hell. wolverine origins made me hate a character I grew up with. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

  • @jetflock Its an adaptation of the comics so I dont think you need to stress about that boy

  • @chewbacawaka

I'm not stressing about anything, "boy". Its just poor writing. Marvel has become the worst comicbook company and they gutted all they're characters. And they're movies are awful too.

  • @jetflock cool story

  • @chewbacawaka I don't care what t the movie says they were out of context and just plain terrible.

  • @Rodanscontrails Dude, I know that, but you gotta watch your tone, you're coming off as an extreme douchebag by just saying that to me. Instead of replying to my 4 month old comment, why don't you just post a regular comment? Jeez, dude, I even said, "IN THE MOVIE." <--- good enough hint for ya?

  • @impactoprofundo Comics: His regeneration power 'healed' his brain of traumatic events, making him regularly suffer amnesia after tragic events.

    Movie: Got shot.

  • It's like which superhero doesn't have superhuman strength...? LOL

  • Can some one please help me? ... The charecter knowen as "dog" in wolverines origens ... is that saberthooth ? ... and where do i go from here about reading about Wepon X ... thx :)

  • @punkrockisthekey In X-Men Origins : Wolverine , Elements of Dog Logan`s Character were merged into Victor Creed/Sabretooth ! Victor in The Film has Dog`s Haircolor , Familial Relationship to James " Logan " Howlett and Tendency of referring to James as " Jimmy " ! However , The Personality , Mutton Chops , Powers , Motives , Trenchcoat and Feelings towards his Father WERE ALL Victor !

  • @1993MovieMan

And these movies are garbage, they ruined EVERYTHING about Weapon X, and added in that horrible James Howlett crap.

  • @jetflock Um , " that James Howlett crap " WAS in The Comics !

  • @punkrockisthekey This was done in order to bring Pathos to Logan and Victor`s Relationship BEYOND JUST " I`m gonna kill ya , runt ! " , " Not if I kill ya first , bub " , WHICH PREVIOUS Adaptations have SADLY REDUCED The Complex Relationship between The Two Feral Canadian Mutants to !

  • Ok, now I'm confused. I get that the movies were wrong, but I was positive that Logan and Victor knew each other as kids.....I'm so confused.

  • @Gaarakunsgurl

James Howlett had a half brother named Dog Logan.

There are some hints he is sabretooth, but is not quite clear.

  • @nachomanrandy It was hinted that Dog Logan was Sabretooth and in the Origin story, the writer did leave it open to be picked up that way, but Victor Creed's origin story is far different for him to be Dog.

  • Read Spawn of the Death Machine by Ted White to see what the Wolverine character was plagiarized from.

  • what's the comic from between the 2000 movie clip of Wolverine healing his forehead and the 1975 comic? (around 1.47) where he explains his adamantium claws and has whisker like mask with shorter ears?

  • @Sweatification Was it the Ed McGuiness Hulk vs. Wolverine? There is a really cool video of that book animated somewhere on YouTube.

  • Wolverine #1! But you know something that bothers me? Everyone saying how the ONLY thing that can kill him is to cut off his head. Technically, there are many more things that would kill him. He still shares the human physiology after all. For instance, depriving him of oxygen would kill him, cutting out his heart would kill him, heck, even shooting an air bubble into his vein would do the trick. But Wolverine is still awesome though.

  • @jkellybrew hum idk who told you that but as far as i know the only thing that could kill him is a speacial kind of sword made ofa rare metal that counters his healing factor

  • @bRICKHOUSE491 Well it's common sense. Did you understand my post? I know it's a comic book character and all, but he is still basically human after taking his healing powers into account and there are things that a human has to have to survive even with Wolverine's powers. Without oxygen for instance, his body would completely shut down and stop working as it would no longer be able to function correctly. The sword you're referring to is the Muramasa Blade, but it isn't the only thing.

  • @jkellybrew i get what your saying but since he's a muntant he's not even human and I get even then most need the same things but there are a few comics with him being riped in half, cut up into pieces, and below completely blow away accpet his skeleton that even has a whole story about him seeing and fighting death for the moments he was "dead" till he healed

  • hey I see Super Gundam Master Grade Model kit in background!

  • they forgot to mention his enhanced senses

  • his bones are coated in adamantium go read the bio on the marvel wiki its all there...tho it is possible to remove his head with a special sword :D

  • Can Wolverine get killed by sudden changes in motion? Like if he's dropped from a plane without a parachute and pummels to the ground? Because I've never seen him fall from very high heights, neither in films nor in comics.

  • @Kotlettbengt no, nothing kills him, he just suffers pain

  • @bb33nnii no, professor X was once mentioned that : the only way to kill Wolverine is decapitate him, and keep his head far away from the body

  • @thangnhodienkhung if that is possible

  • @bb33nnii yes it is, because he's not completely adamantium, just some parts of him is

actually, it's the bones were mixed with adamantium, not the bones ARE adamantium

  • @thangnhodienkhung ok, i may not be a big comic fan. but i know that the adamantium covers his bones. and adamantium is indestructable, so nothing can pierce through it to make contact with his bones. so it doesnt seem like his head can be cut off of his body.

  • @bb33nnii well adamantium is not cover his bones, it was mixed between his bones, and yeah, if you read Ultimate Universe, Wolverine was once ripped into two pieces by the Hulk.

anyway, he's still fight to get his head back even he get decapitated so cheers bro :D he's my most favorite hero

  • @thangnhodienkhung if the adamantiam is between his bones than how are his claws totally covered in it. and how come no one can cut trough his bones

  • @dudebucket60 there was some scenes that show Wolverine was being cut through in comic, and you can google about the construction of wolverine's body to see how it works :D

  • quik ?. if wolverines skeleton is admantium than wats cap.americas shield made out of. and i read somewhere that he can regenerate from just 1 cell.

  • @HB791 Caos shield is vibranium and adamantium alloy

  • the only way to kill wolverine is to seperate his head from his body and keep them apart.even if hes blown up he cant die. His skin will just regenerate

  • the superheroes' supergroup... that just sounds silly

  • Did i miss something or did they just leav out that he has hightened senses both smelling and hearing.

i think he also had high hearing? i dont remember

  • i thought sabertooth and wolverine were both real brothers by that "step dad" that was logan and was real father in truth

  • @TheRogueMonk i would thin tehy had to be related to have similarities

  • @TheRogueMonk

not sure if i'm reading you right, but the original creator of sabertooth stated in aan article that he intended for him to be Logan's father. The idea was changed for some reason in the comics and movies.

  • that is the true origin, but they left out him fleeing from canada, forgetting about his past and accidentily KILLING ROSE. you shouldn't leave that out

  • weapon x was a vr program

  • HIS CLAWS AREN'T HIS POWERS jesus

  • @alientechsk8r yeah they are, unless ur talkin about the adamantium, they weren't but he had bone claws before hand

  • the claws aren't his mutation.

  • @alientechsk8r BONE CLAWS

  • @alientechsk8r BONE CLAWS BONE CLAWS BONE CLAWS BONE CLAWS

  • I know what you said. His mutations are healing factor, senses, agility and all that but the origin of his claws are still a mystery. As has happened a few times, when his powers become inactivated he still has his claws. Yes if they were a mutation the metal shells would remain but he wouldn't be able to unsheath and sheath them. He has said before that they aren't a mutant power.

  • @alientechsk8r ah, yes, i overlooked that point, i understand ur meaning now

  • left out alot of important plot points bub

  • @gham619 like what?

  • @burby8100 well I liked it he got most of it and I know it's just a generalization this guy really knows his comic books I just wish he would of just combined the two wolverine videos he did... like if he included the xmen timeline, and the enemies wolverine made. The different styles wolverine had over the years that sort of thing, But all in all It was a good video though.

  • @vladutz2000: he IS a mutant

  • wolverine isn't a mutant

  • Marvel or DC?

  • MARVEL

  • Marvel

  • What is this advertisement at the beginning? It is sh|t...

  • hang on you left out his amnesia

  • this skips quite a lot, what about madripoor, mariko, viper and silverfox as well as all the other stuff?

  • yeah your right because they didnt mention him going to japan and meeting mariko and becoming a samurai.

  • how old is Wolverine?

  • Unknown. But he served WWI and WWII. In the comics when he got old he was like 200 years old.

  • @onikjohn3 very old

  • sony,a,crocker Dude, friend, peep, bubbly, Conrad, homey, guy with the twenty dollar hair cut, girl with the twenty dollar finger nails my names just Onik for short that it thats all please don't ever remember this Name as onikjohn3 plzz don't. And if you know how old is he rather then very old i'm very interested in knowing

P.S this video is a good mini-auto-biography of wolverine it failed to reveal perhaps the most important thing in a bio. His or her age

  • Mmhmm well he is I would say with confidence 200 years old if you count this centuray but in fiction if they are still in the 1900s than he would be 100 to 150 Im not sure what year he was born in but it was I am sure was in the 1800

  • (not that i'm confused about Logan's gender i just meant it in general for all people)

  • well he did say that he was born in the 19th century (1800s) making Wolverine/Logan at least 200 years old

  • @Troop3r666 how? let's say he was born in 1890, he'd be 120 yrs old now

  • ya something like that but his regenerative abilities makes his body age a lot slower then anyone else

  • @Troop3r666 oh yeah i knew all that

  • over 100 years

  • some years later? They glossed over nearly 150 years of warfare love a child and more.

  • Who else thinks Wolverine would probably listen to Gordon Lightfoot?

  • I liked it better when Logan had a mysterious past. Somethings are better off left to the reader's imagination.

  • @undeadnightorc if you enjoy wolverine look at my video

  • @undeadnightorc

they ruined wolverine. who the hell is the wimpy james howlett? ruined. awful. ruined.

  • originaly they intended Wolverine to be a actual mutated wolverine, who was experimented by the High Evolutionary

  • great

  • Wolverine originally had NO backstory. he was just a character they needed to go up against the Hulk. Thats it, they never actually intended to keep the character in print, but reader appeal gave him another shot with the X-men. Originally his claws were attached to his gloves, but this was changed by his X-men debut. Logan's backstory was that he had no backstory. Suffering memory loss from the Weapon X project. The James Howellet story is only 5 years old.

  • So how did he get his powers?

  • Apocalypse gave him back his adamantium

  • Ok the thing about Sabertooth saying that we are brothers he means because they are both Mutants that make them bothers also the creator of Wolverine even said at the 2009 Comic Con he didn't mean to make Wolverine and Sabertooth alike it just happened that way but they are not related just that they both are Mutants.

  • I've come to this conclusion:

Nobody is right. You would have to go to the freaking creator of Wolverine to get the real origin.

There's like 234235235 stories about Wolverine, I can't believe any of this shit anymore. "Sabertooth is his brother, NO his dad, NO his cousin, NO, they're not related"

Like seriously? There's too many claims for one story to be right. So fuck it. I'm just going to believe what I want.

  • It's all fiction it doesn't matter anyway. Such an exciting storyline though.

  • I know it doesn't really matter, but it's ridiculous.

  • I know it's so confusing!!! I wish they could just have one storyline!!!!

  • dude just read wolverine... best story to go by

  • This may sound horrible to comic book fans. I'm sorry...

But i probably would have not ever gotten into Wolverine and the comics if it was not for Hugh Jackman.

and i know Wolverine is suppose to be short and hairy.

But truthful Hugh Jackman's hotness and performance got my attention.

and then i started reading Wolverine comics and i love them now =D

And i thank Hugh Jackman cuz i probably would have never have found out how badass Wolverine is!!!!!

    I

  • No need to apologize, I have been a wolverine fan since the 70's and Jackman is *perfect*

  • That's the true origin. Not the screw up origin of the movie. Logan was kidnapped for experimentation wich was an ethical problem: experimentation on mutants. He went against his will. That's the truth and it was a professor and not Stryker responsible for weapon x program.

  • Most mutants reveal there powers they are sick or being activated by anger for instance Scott summers activated his ability of lasers coming out of his eyes when had a hay fever.

  • Wolverine is the best comic books super hero ever

  • wath hahahahaha

  • thats cool

  • yeah but they didn't explain how he got those yellow spandex

  • wolverine was also short and fairly ugly in the comics as well, definitely not a Hugh Jackman.

  • Agreed totaly.

  • @egglot12 I blive wolverie whould have had abilites to jump high and have cat like animalistic abilities such as jump higher , just like a lynx

btw i think wolverine is more like in e veryway to a lynx then a pantsy wolverine

  • @TheRogueMonk

I like the cat analogy for Logan better. Just a theory, but I suspected that Logan was really a thin, but athletic-looking short man before they stuck about 100 lbs. of metal in him. The bulky muscular look developed after that in order for him to still move the same way he could before.

  • @egglot12 i aggree with you .. search LYNX on hte net and see pictures its identical to logan and his suite ... Logan probably wasNOT thin athleetic WHY because his body can recooperate very fast , he would recover from any workout and result in hyperbolic anabolic results.. if you learn about steroids is that steroids one of its effects are fastened recovery ability .. while a normal man has a very limited recover ability. Logan more likely could bear the admt due to his streangth achieved.

  • @TheRogueMonk PLUSS its physically by law imossible to be excessively strong without the muscle mass as a counter factor to it. Logan would never be able to move if the admontonium was that heavy... its more likely both that he was stronger and full of muscles and that admontonium was never that heavy as is written it is. I t is simply not efficiently affordable for a metal to be so heavy at any rate unless its operated by tons of machinery .

    i

  • @TheRogueMonk

Well, since Logan doesn't continue to grow in muscle mass, his body would maintain a certain set point. The comics had Logan weighing about 300lbs. with his metal frame and the bulkiness of his muscle would be to offset the added weight. (I'm referring to the comic series where all the villians and heroes were broken down alphabetically. It was like a ten part series that was put out in the 1980's I believe).

  • @egglot12 in reality a pro bodybuilder or a pro athlete who uses steroids grows much bgiger or stronger then a normal person.. now wolveirne would atelast have that edge to begin with... thats what i am talking about.

in truth in order for the admontonium to work on a body they would ahve to do a compelte plhyscal endurance test of hte person .. in order to make them sure they could endure lifting themselves.

later x32 has admontonium? i am not sure .. she is surely not fit for it?

  • @egglot12 Logan was ugly in his Earlier Appearances , not so much in Later Appearances !

  • @egglot12 TOTALLY! i don't know about ugly, he had a rough edge, he looked like an animal, not really caring for his appearance, and to most people he did look good enough, (Jean fell for him, although that may have been something more than just looks) But his height was reported at...5'7" ? even SPiderman was taller, and i think spidey was...5'8" so logan may have been 5'6", and CANADIAN not AUSTRALIAN. My biggest problem with Jackman was his height, we wanted to see WOLVERINE, not...idk

  • @Sweatification Actually, Wolverine is 5'3" and Spider-Man is 5'10". So the difference in height is much bigger than what's shown in the movies.

  • @tuxedomoroboshi EXACTLY! thanks. (wow even i'm taller than wolverine?) he's more of a puck alright

  • @Sweatification Wolvie may be small, but he weighs 300 lbs.! Granted, a third of that is because of his adamantium skeleton, but even so, 200 lbs. of muscle on a 5'3" frame is... wow.

  • Wolverine looks so much better in the Hero Outfit he wears now. Back then he looked like a rip-off of Batman xD

  • okay can someone answer me this was wolverine born with his retractable claws cus its really confusing

  • no, you fool. he was experimented on because he had rapid healing, and they added them in becasue he could handle the pain of them.

  • thanks smartass

  • he was born with claws. bone claws. theyre not a product of the experiment.

  • ok i thought so is it different in other comics or all the same oh and thanks

  • as far as i know, yes. they depict wolverines claws as a mutatation, ever since marvel released the bone claw version of him.

research how it was proven that it was indeed a mutation. i think youll like how it was revealed.

  • k thanks

  • wolverine was born a mutant. for most it takes some aging until powers naturally grew on them. for wolverine it came when he first sensed his first encounter of danger and anger. so no he wasnt born with his powers of claws instantly. he had to just mature until his powers naturally settled in.

  • he was born with bone claws

  • in the original comic book called wolverine. yes. he's born with them.

  • Believe it or not, James Howlett is actually older then Erik Magnus Lehnsherr(Magneto). Wolverine was born in the late 1880s.

  • @ka7end i heard in one of his many war stories, Wolverine saved a young Magneto from the haulocaust pits

  • @Sweatification Nope , that`s ONLY in X-Men : Evolution !

  • @1993MovieMan like i said, ONE of...good, i didn't like the idea. Isn't it interesting how every superhero has a connection to every other superhero somehow? how convenient.

  • he didn't even mention alpha flight

  • You forgot about sabertooth and Silver Fox they were pretty big factors in wolverines life before and after he joined the X-men

  • yes i can

i can resist it for the rest of my fucking life

  • Should have really started with his regeneration powers since one major fact is if it wasn't for that ability he would have died when they tried to bond his skeleton.

  • and would have disenegrated by the Phoenix in X-Men: The Last Stand (not very good movie in my opinion)

  • Canadian government? lol cool

  • ok im real confused now someone help me out...

if i wanna know the true origins of wolverine...which comic book or graphic novel should i read? ...like i want to know the exact events that happened

  • Ok first of all you would wana read the Origins mini series, its in graphic novel form aswell, then after that get Marvel Comics presents Weapon X, also in graphic novel, theres like a few others you have to get if you wana read in chronological order. Im gonna add you as friend so I can let you know the issues when im well enough to look through my collection. Peace.

  • k thanks a lot dude

  • nice

    fuckin love me some wolvy

  • Would wolverine die if he were to be dropped from the atmosphere into the earth?

  • Nope. He's made of adamantium, which is indestrucatble. we however, have bones, and they break easy. our bones would shatter, but wolverine's won't even budge.

  • what sinteresting is that Wolverine orignly had NO orign.

its only later on an orgin is created for him. which some fans did not like.

  • The superhuman strength wouldn't come from his.. having an indestructible metal skeleton graft would it?
