  • Marie,

What a great explanation with clear video. Thanks for all that you do to assist all of us in the quilt world. Mary O

  • LOVED this video!! Thanks for making such clear instructions!!!!

  • This is the best video by far, and I tried looking at so many, about making continuous binding. Thanks for being such a terrific teacher!

  • Thank you so much. I have been looking at other blogs trying to figure this out for two days now. I am so happy I decided to do a you tube search and found your video. It was exactly what I needed and I was able to do it perfectly after watching your video. A thousand times "thank you". Blessings to you!

  • Great tutorial thanks for the bi-color demonstrations also. very clear and concise, and easy to follow! i'm gonna attempt this while watching your video.

You used a miniature square, how do I find how large a square should be for different lengths of bias and different widths?

  • @Metqa Formula: A. Width of square X Length of Square=area of sq.

    For example: 24˝ x 24˝ = 576

    B. Area of square divided by width of binding strip = length of bias strip

For example: 576 divided by 2˝ = 297.5 (a little over 8 yards of binding)

  • @mseroskie

Wow! Thanks, That's amazing 8 yards from a two foot square. You just saved my project and my wallet, I thought I was gonna need a lot more fabric to edge my aprons.

  • This is much clearer than other methods on YouTube! Thanks.

  • Awesome tutorial! Thanks!

  • How can I find your Blog? I would like to see the written directions for the bias tube.

  • thank you for this

  • Very clear thanks for making this easy!

  • This is a great demonstration, thank you.

  • This is a great video demonstration. Thanks for sharing.

  • Very clear instructions. Using 2 colors was extremely helpful. I've made bias binding in the past, and find your suggestion of drawing a 1/4 crosshatch mark on the cutting lines a good improvement in trying to guesstimate the match points.

How do you rate this video? It deserves top rating!!
