Sure, dogs are protective sometimes. You just have to choose a particular breed. Where as in a cat's case, they may not be large enough to protect you, but they have unconditional love for their owners and don't just take the food, water, and home for granted. You just need to know how to treat a cat to get its affectoin, and you need to understand a cat the way it does stuff.
Dogs on the other hand are very different in their own uniqe way, because every animal is special. :)

In 1997 an old woman in my parish died. She was buried in the graveyard right next to the Church and the house where we lived. She had on old black & white tomcat who went missing shortly after.
One week later he was found, curled up cold and stiff, on her grave.

Oh really. I'm not necissarily going to take advice from somebody who has horrible grammar. My friend had two dogs. One I was trying to pet and it went up and bit me in the face. The other bit me because I stepped on his bone. Both animals may have flaws, but it comes from personality mostly. Maybe your cats just aren't friendly. And maybe your dog is just lazy. That doesn't mean that cats suck and dogs rule. It doesn't mean I'm saying dogs suck either.

i like cats cuz they know how to use a litterbox wat i dont like about cats is that sometimes they wander off and u dont even know i like dogs cuz they r always on ur side wat i dont like about dogs is if u have a dog and the dog poops u always need to clean the poop and its disgusting but it doesnt mean dogs r bad pets catz and dogs r both good pets oh also i saw a lady with 5 puppies and she went past a mean dog and the puppies barked at the mean dog and that wasnt really scary

I don' know what kind of cats you've been around but my cats follow me all around the house and are more loyal then a dumb dog has ever been and I've had dogs before too but I got rid of them. Dogs are too much work and they smell terrible.

I'm just tired of people saying things like, " Dogs are stinky", or "stupid". Oh, and have you ever heard,"dogs are not our whole lives, but they make our lives whole"? My Dog actually just died and it's really hard to loose a friend like that, she died in my arms cause of cancer. And the only reason I dislike cats is cause my nieghbor has 20 and they eat our garbage and poop everywhere.

I'm sorry your dog died, and that is really sad. My dad once had two dogs. One dog got sick and so the other dog would be sweet and let him eat out of her bowl. It was one of the sweetest things I have ever seen. Sorry if I offended you.

they do love but usually they dont really care. i mean like for example a cat wants to play with u one day but the next moment after a meal it just wanders off . kinda like my cat im kinda worried though cuz hes hanging on with some stray cats. but dogs on the other hand . they are loyal and are always by your side. kinda like my dog. but i like both cats and dogs..2 best pet choices i would choose from

The dog at 1:45 is a puppy that was rescued off the street. As a stray, it was severely underweight. You'll be happy to know that it regained its health and was quickly adopted.

msglow1 and flavagrrl cats are cute I have this kitten and she loves attenion at times and sometimes when I pet her my kitten starts to drool and I love both cats and dogs although one time my dog bit my nose and it probally did almost get broken but then again my 2 year old dog still acts like she's a puppy....
