I'm having trouble downloading a driver for the epic. Everytime I go to the websites to download it, it's always a driver finder that asks you to buy their software. Is there a link you can give me to download from? Thanx in advance!

Hey nice vid. I'm ganna get a new phone & I had decided to get the epic & didn't like the samsung layout at all it's nasty. I like everything u did & how it looks on your phone in this vid but how did u do it? I would love to know this will really help me make it easier for me to get the epic rather then the evo.

I thought rooting would be hard when i get ready to switch to sprint for this phone. This is childs play coming from winmo 6.5 lol. Thanks for the tutorial though.

@Dcdatruth85 It really isnt. You just have to be a little patient and wait for the Dev's to release a one click root. There are other methods to root that are a little more complicated, I tend to stay away from those.

good God, can't anyone make a video using a tripod? How about having the correct drivers first? The clowns making this video get error messages and then have to verbally give you instructions during their video. Is this a bad joke?

@pipsurfer1 No. We actually do a lot of our initial roots on camera. I think it helps for people to see what "Might" happen, ie the error messages and what not. I've seen to many videos where they blow through the process and don't address any issues that might arise.

ok so i have a sprint epic and i dont know anything bout ROOTING phone jailbreaking is way less complicated, so i have no idea when it comes to ROM'S DRIVER'S, KERNEL'S!??? xplain plz how would i know which to install?? its soo super confusing!!!!!?? then with the new 2.2 android coming out idk whether to wait or not?

@chahula10 If you really don't have a need to root i wouldn't. Personally, I have no need to root an Android. I like the phone the way it is out of the box, some people don't and that's why they do choose to root the phone. You are right in that 2.2 is coming out soon so if I were you I'd wait it out. I think the only cool function that I use on a Rooted Epic is the wireless tether.
