If this is officially connected to the games, it would be set after DMC1, since DMC3 is a prequel to 1st game, and 2nd game is set years in the future (which many prefer to ignore. Actually, the ending of this short series shows the devil hunter trio heading out somewhere far in a different country, making the series look like a prelude to DMC4.

Yes it is...Some time ago Capcom made an announcement that two gamers were secretly being made. They gave away the title of the first one, but kept the second one a secret. Though they gave a hint to give people an idea of what it is. The hint was something about "Your favorite devil hunter ETC", i don't remember the exact words, but i know everyone immediately thought DMC5. And thats what I'm believing.

@03002354298 Yes, Mundus is dead, but what makes you think he cant come back? He was practically equivalent to a god after all. And wheres your proof about Vergil being dead? If you have never played DMC4, then don't even bother with this. For those who have played it, rumors are going about vergil being linked to Nero in some way, because of how his Devil Trigger was the same as Vergils. As well as most of his abilities. So, for all we know, Vergil may not really be dead.

Nero? No thanks... Vergil would be severly more badass... But one would asume it'd have to be Nelo Angelo, being that Trish is there and all. Besides, Dante would be in his Devil May Cry 4 attire and have 5 O' clock shadow for Nero to even be introduced to Dante, or the series...
