Interesting comment. It would also be good to know what defines - real amulets-real monks-real holy man or real shamans. This is definitely your reality. In my reality, a real buddhist monk does not make amulets, holy man live in India and shaman's come in all colors. I did some real research having some amulet dealers judging effectivity of their best amulets and mine under cover. in the end it is the energy creating effect that matters and believe me orgonite beats dirt from cemetries.

If the wearer believes in his amulet, it will already get some effectivity. Personally, I would never wear a thai amulet. This is pure personal, just the way I feel about it.
