  • God, I hope I can make a landing like that some day.

  • What does she mean " abeam the pappybox?"

  • @ecuber11 he means to land with the small red PAPI control box right off the wing tip

  • im 30 yrs old can my age be fine

  • WoW. She was the "instructor" in FS2004 (not sure about him)

  • ITS PETER GRIFFEN

  • Wow, beautiful short field landing.

  • lol @ nicely done

  • when I get married I hope my marriage to be as awesome as John and Martha's.

  • this should have been done with a c-172

  • Generally the retiring age is between 60-65, so yes, 50 should be fine.

  • i hear guys flying at age 80

  • Your age would not preclude you from getting your certificate. You will need to obtain a third-class medical certificate. Call us at 1-800-854-1001 and we's be happy to discuss this or any other questions you have on getting your license.

  • I really like these videos. I wish I had bought them. I went with the Gleim system, which was great, but King was probably the better choice. Gleim focuses more on the knowledge test.

  • is that a cirus?

  • at 0:09 and at 1:14ish(before) she says "mooney" so i would guess not but i do not know...wow that's cool you have to land in a specific spot

  • nope.. it looks like a mooney to me..

  • nah its a mooney

  • She is great

  • to be a pilot u gotta only have much money...

  • You should be able to complete your flying lessons for less than $10,000 and that figure is if everything goes wrong. In most cases, you can go form start to finsih for about $6,000 depending on A/C rental in your area and fuel costs.

  • Not bad! These guys are LEGIT!

  • The Kings produce one of the leading flight education product lines available. The info is given in simple enough terms that even someone that has no interest in flying at all could make sense out of.

  • do you fly this one first in order to be a commercial pilot?you know pilot that works for airlines.

  • What aircraft was that...? Was it a mooney M20?

  • Martha is obsessed with the mooney and John is obsessed with the Cessna 172

  • is that a mooney bravo

  • Funny, I remember seeing them in that simulator (FS2004) once.

  • how much is the school

  • Didn't know you guys worked out of CA. F70

  • Looked like a good landing

  • I'd like to add, the flight medical exam also ensures that you are mentally fit to operate an aircraft.

  • well, when I went to get my first class medical, all they did was check my blood pressure, and eyesight... I could have been mentally reatarded and they wouldn't have even noticed.

  • @marick626 actually your wrong....for a student pilots lic, it's a third class medical...a 'first class' medical would include a stress test [atp] I personally dought you every had a first class medical and yes you might be retarded because you spelled it reatarded

  • I have a question. What does the medical consist of to get your pilots license? Do you take a lie detector test? P.S. I mean in the United States.

  • Dear goingtobeapilot,

The flight medical exam is to ensure that you are physically able to pilot an aircraft. There is no lie detector test involved in a flight medical exam.

    Best wishes,

  • What's in the medical exam though? Like what do they look for?

  • vision, heart, blood pressure, any visible defections, stuff like that

  • for Vision can I have corrective lenses?

  • and they make u some exams to see if u`re crazy xD i mean ! u R right to drive a plane !

  • They just make sure that you are in decent physical shape. If you can drive a car, you shouldn't have any problem passing the flight medical. The upside is that if you don't pass it, you will at least know that you have something seriously wrong health wise and need to get it looked at anyway. Oh yeah, they do a urine test too to make sure that you aren't a stoner! LOL! Good luck!

  • hahahahaha you just made my day

  • Good job Martha and JC!!

  • Martha, bounced on her landing a little bit. But it was awesome!

  • What bounce? Did you see the video? She kept it down.

  • I meant like "Float" a little.

  • Her landing was a little shaky I meant.

  • they are a very good pilot!
