  • wow how cool is this..i have that very picture record sitting on the turntable of my victrola.......it was part of a whole series of issues...for two years out of Detroit....most cool...

  • @gigglydot That's pretty neat. I have a lot of these in my collection, and quite a few posted. They were only made from May of 1946 to April of 1947 by Sav-Way Industries in Detroit, with seventy four 10" records being produced, and just a couple of 12" prototypes, private presses, and one-offs.

  • Hey there Lloyd!! Great music and beautiful artwork on that picture disc. Great post!

  • @spintheblackcircle4 Thank you Don! I love these old Vogues. I'll be posting more of them soon.

  • And "The Righteous Brothers" [actually, just ONE of them, Bobby Hatfield, even though he and Bill Medley were jointly credited] recorded a version produced by Phil Spector for Philles in 1965 (on the flip side of "Ebb Tide").

  • Dear Mr Althazarr,

thanks for the upload of this picture disc! I own this record too, i´ve found it for many years on an little flie-market in bavaria (germany), my homeland!

    Greetings from Christian

  • This is one of my favorite Vogues that I own. It's amazing how good they sound.

Greetings to you too, and I hope you enjoy all the music I have to share,

    Lloyd
