L3 should really lobby to get NVGs taken off the restricted ITAR list. For anyone who does not directly oppose the goals, and missions of the United state. Canadians want, and need them (SAR like me) and mostly just bring them across the border since Canada NVGs are unrestricted. Export permits cost $250+high chance of them being denied.
