I honestly don't think this scene is very exaggerated at all. I was given abilify, and I know that's a different kind of medication entirely, being an anti-psychotic, but it made me walk outside in the middle of the night during winter, in just my nightgown, because I wanted to reach the streetlights... Later, I broke open a window and attempted to jump out because I thought I could fly.

The clip is depicting your first scenario; his mother did not get the drugs for him, he was prescribed them by a psychiatrist. Ritalin is a stimulant. For those with ADD/ADHD, it has the opposite effect. Since Charlie does not have ADD, he's off the wall.

As for your question, I don't think any would, but since I don't have ADD, I can't be definitive.

Isn't it Ironic? Some people illegally obtain Ritlin in order to be able to speed through school work or projects. These are people who don't suffer from ADD or ADHD, but with people WITH ADHD (me) It calms you and keeps you focused. I never knew anyone with ADHD who took Ritlin that could focus on their schoolwork even while medicated. lol... Ritlin takes you to another place. I would draw or write music before I would do my homework. lol

No, ritalin does not make you act that way. A lot of ADHD drugs are hit and miss. When you find one that works, it actually calms you down, helps you focus, etc.

That said, this was one hilarious scene.

Ofc, if you arent diagnosed Adhd, add then you get hyper as the active ingredient is a psychostimulant called methylphenidiate. A amphetamine-derivate.

If people without prescriptions take it, they'll react as they have taken amphetamine. And there's also the deal about dosage.

Prescription drugs work as they should on those that need em, other people get other reactions. So we are in agreement there :)

200mg? according to my shrink 60mg a day is the highest advisable amount. according to some other sources it`s 10mg per 10 kg of body weight. no disrespect but you must either have developed a high tolerance or you are very large. i take 40mg a day btw and that's fine. i took 80mg by mistake once and i just was buzzing. i was good at work though:p
