They definately need to cut the show together better, and make the episodes longer, it's over so fast! And get rid of Kathy Kinney, she just isn't funny, or on par with the rest of the cast.
They also need the Irish Drinking Song game back, man I miss Colin in those things.
1. A half hour episode competing with 1 hour prime time shows...uhh won't work.
2. Having it on 3 times a day, will definitely not get an accurate count on viewers.
3. Most importantly they have it on everyday. Even though thats good for us, casual viewers think 'oh i'll just catch it tomorrow", and that kills ratings and sponsors don't like that.
I would've loved to have seen the Whose Live Anyway? tour, but the show near me was in May and you uploaded this video making me aware of the tour in June. Oh, well...
Also, Heather is one of the best female improv performers I've ever seen. I've never seen anyone since Denny Siegel who has made me laugh that much. She's so quick and her humour is so clever.
Really hoping for a second season! I think people trying to compare it to Whose Line are kind of missing the point - Whose Line was heavily edited and almost over-produced. If you watch outtakes of Whose Line, you can tell that the tapings would last for nearly an entire day, they would play game after game after game, re-tape the same game multiple times and come up with the best material. This is simply a LIVE show that happens to be taped. It's very different.
There's a huge lack in variety in the games they played. Some ideas I have to question why anyone thought they would be funny. Like the one where they play a scene backwards and forwards over and over. and while longer games are great for those in the live shows, its horrible for the people watching at home. I did find myself liking it more as the show went on though, the mouse trap thing was especially hilarious and different. Really hoping for more seasons. We dont have anything else like it.
Agreed. The live shows are a totally different experience than the television shows. Whose Live Anyway? is one of the greatest shows I've EVER gone to. My side was in pain by the end of it from laughing so much.
I signed the petition. I honestly wasn't sure the show would last long in the first place for a few reasons, but my fingers crossed as well. I personally very much enjoyed it, and it'd be nice for it to keep going.
Flap My Jack was my fave too Diane. Thank you for updates and I have viewed every episode that aired (8pm, 11pm, and 2am). I signed and e-mailed so hopefully GSN bring it back for another season if not more.
I believe one of the reasons for the low ratings was the lack of variety in the games that were played...the shows simply seemed too similar to each other, the typical show consisting of one or two singing games, then either new choice or sentences (sometimes both) and freeze tag or one of the lesser played games like first date. Also, as you already said, it was edited way too much, so it didn't really have that "relaxed yet hilarious" feeling that made whose line so special.
@Caipiranha89 definitely rooting for a second season though and already signed the petition, I believe this show can become truly great with just a little more effort by GSN
@Caipiranha89 Actually, Improv-A-Ganza is much, much more relaxed than Whose Line, and Whose Line was far more edited. However, it was the fact that it was the way that it was edited which what deterred from the full enjoyment of DCI. Each game went anywhere from six to sometimes even fifteen minutes in length, and when that was cut down for TV, so much was left out. The episodes did need to be an hour long, and the editing needed to be much smoother and more cohesive.
Thanks for keeping us updated on the show. I really appreciated it. BTW, my favorite game playing was when Colin and Ryan played sentences "Mi Flaming Corazon."
Diane, thank you so much for doing these videos as a way of concluding this season of the show! I've done my bit by signing the petition in the hopes that the show won't be dismissed that easily. Imagine a second season with more of Heather and Jonathan and other special guests, more and different games and so much more laughter! Keep your chin up, it will happen! Thank you for all of your hard work in making this YouTube channel & the website havens for us fans! Much love to you! :)
when's it/is it coming to New Zealand? :)

Nearly made me cry - this sounded like a sad farewell video. T_T I don't want this to end!
My favorite parts were Mousetraps. Sadistic, but I loved it.

@Wakka12321 I love how right before he says that, Ryan figures out what he's going to say and you can see him shaking his head in the background...

@JoraffProductions Yeah I noticed that too. Ryan is pretty quick :P
