I reluctantly watched Fish Tank the other week oh boy not another take on common as muck badly behaved 'yute'; But I was mesmerised by the film, Fassbender and of course Katie who is absolutely gorgeous. I hope we see a lot more of her in the coming years. This was her second film I believe; she has such an expressive face. I just hope she cuts it in other roles.
A very wonderful and touching short story. I really was intrigued by the origins and destinations of both characters (If that makes sense).
Suppose the boy was innocent in the beginning? Or Katie's character had a mental disorder?
The title, I assume is meant for the baby, the story is gentle and left me with a very curious impression. Overall this is a well written and directed piece, empathetic acting that conveys deep human emotions in such a short time.
