About the 1D paring I don't really mind. I'm not a fan of their music but that doesn't mean I hate them. They're just boys and paring them with the Disney girls is cool, buy I'm still a HUGE fan of Lolena so I'll be just a bit sad. It's still your choice, do whatever makes you happy. It's not worth missing out on something you want to do because people told you not to :)
