I have an Olive oil perm in my hair & I have organic Leave in Mayonnaise & the small gold packs of Olive oil condition replenisher. I recently bought Herbal oil w/Ginseng & Olive & Clove oil. I oil my scalp w/the Herbal ev otha day & I want to learn how to utilize the Clove oil so please instruct me on how to use my products & do u hot oil first than shampoo or vise versa

  • I'm like misanneone, i don't have a drier & i've NEVER heard of cowashing b4. I bought africas best herbal & I left petroleum alone & I recently bought olive oil Clove oil bc I was introduced to jojoba oil & basically both of them have impressive ingredients. I thought you are supposed to hot oil your hair b4 shampooing & conditioning. & how do you heat up the towel?

  • shes so cute and sexy

  • is it healthy to do this often? and does it make your hair grow as well? im in the process of growing my hair out

  • @pmdallday yes hot iol treatments combat against dryness and keeps your hair from getting brittle

  • @pmdallday yes of course! i do this at least once a week. and it makes your hair really healthy which is a big step to growing your hair out. im also in the process.

  • where do you purchase your coconut oil and what brand do you use.

  • @Tilara I bought the coconut oil from walmart.

  • You ONLY "rinse" out the oil?

You don't shampoo the oil out?

Doesn't your hair end up sticky and oily?

  • i thought u was putting ketchup in your hair lol

  • hi good looking

  • do you have get coconut oil from the supermarket or can you get it from the hair store??

  • @wildberrylemonade I've never seen coconut oil in the beauty supply, I guess it couldn't hurt to try.

  • where do u get coconut oil???????????

  • @sailoranything The supermarket carries it down the baking isle. Whole foods or any other kind of health food store also carries it.

  • Love the ketchup and mustard bottles idea...I live in Korea and have been having a hard time finding those types of bottles that come empty. Hopefully I can find some ketchup and mustard bottles..lol

  • Fierce browssss ;P

  • Can I use olive oil instead of coconut oil?

  • Where do you get the Turbi Towel?

  • You can find one at the Dollar General, Family Dollar, or Big Lots. I saw a knock off at Everything's A Dollar!

  • thanks! i wanted to do a hot oil treatment but never really got around to it, cause i guess i don't know how. this really helped! thanks!!

  • your bottles are great ideal and easy to heat, goodthinking girl thanks

  • Do you wash && condition it before using the hot oil treatment? && how often do you do this??

  • Yes, In this video when I came back with the towel on my hair, that was after a cowash ( conditioner wash) I rarely use shampoo. I don't do this very often, only when I feel as though my hair is dry.

  • Oh ok, thanks

  • How come u added cocanut oil to the African pride oil? Do they work best together?

  • The African Royale Hot Six Oil and Coconut oil are my favorites. You can use what ever naturals oils that you like. Just make sure that they are 100% natural for the deepest penetration

  • would you suggest a coconut hot oil treatment prior to wash and then condition? or the other way around? i have natural hair, no perms, no dye, but sheds when i wash and it sheds when i flat iron. i do use heat protectors prior to drying(blow dryer) and prior to flat ironing. i only wash and flat iron once a week. so i was just wondering on the hot oil treatment, would this help the shedding possibly

  • What you are describing is a prepoo, with oils. I don't do prepoo's ( just not for me) The shedding may subside if you put less stress on your hair for a period of time. For some people even once a week is too much for heat styling.

  • thanks!!

  • @seemyhealthyhair, so are you saying u don't shampoo your hair out, you just rinse the hair in water?

  • @bliss070 yes, I rinse the oils out with water until I can not feel it on the strands. The oil that remains is the what is absorbed into the hair strands

  • Semid5 gave you a shout out and good tip video.

  • I wouldn't recommend heating the oil in the microwave but you can heat the water up that way and then place the oil inside.

  • is this good for frizzy ends?

  • Yes, dry and frizzy hair can benefit from hot oil treatments. Weekly deep conditioning is good for frizzy hair along with certain products and serums.

  • Ok THank you soo much!! :)

  • i will have to try that....haven't done a hot oil treatment in a few months.

  • What brand of coconut oil do you use? It seems to be liquified. The one that I use is solid. It melts easily in my hands but yours seems to have the same consistency as the Hot Six Oil.

  • I used extra virgin coconut oil from walmart ( I threw the jar out and don't remember the brand name) It was crazy hot in my room today so the coconut oil liquified. It's solid in lower temperatures.

  • nice video

  • Thank you!

  • where did u find your towel...i had one but threw it away and i seem to find another...thnx!!!

  • I actually bought the one that I'm wearing in this video from ROSS. But I have others that I bought from the dollar store. I have about 4 of them.

  • where did u find your towel...i had one but threw it away and I cant find another...thnx!!!

  • I did the Big Chop Back in May of this year after a 7 monthh transition.

  • So how long is this growth of your natural hair?
