you know whats pathetic.the fact this is better than all the crappy movies being released today.especially with all the technology used in making movies today.
My favorite films by him are Go West and The Navigator, especially that scene where he drives across the street lol, and when he goes back, he says he'd better take a long walk
@gabe25591 Indeeeeeed, it's like I told my mother, it's a miracle he lived to be in his 70s! Every time we watch something of his she's always pointing at his falls and spills and stunts and jumps and saying 'it's a wonder he didn't kill himself!'
Thanks to everyone who has commented. He remains my favorite. Gulomb, I will try and make a full list of clips soon, but the scene you asked about is the opening scenes of The Navigator.
Now that I have time to stop and smell the roses, so to speak, I'm following up on things long neglected. I agree, Buster Keaton is great. Another gag I remember from that movie had him shuffling and cutting a deck of cards in a drenching rain. I almost died laughing.
Can you say which movies these clips came from? Especially the one where he has a chauffeur drive him across the street. I saw the movie 40 years ago but can't recall the title. Many thanks.
anyone else been watching his movies on tcm?
