@KellyKorean Obviously because it wasn't necessary, the man with MG50 was a formal officer in the army, remember that and he had one of his favorite officer within the ranks of those soldiers. He probably stopped because he wanted to send the airborne a message, not start a massacre. It wouldn't also be realistic if they did that, as this was based on a true event and 100-150 soldiers didn't die in this event

She never wanted to kill someone. Obviously in that situation, she either had the choice to kill the ruthless officer, or prevent him from killing an innocent civilian.
