@prometheustwin1970 Not necessarily, true you will loose accuracy, but with a low velocity air powered gun like this, you will get similar results. Rifling can actually make it MORE INACCURATE. This is due to the fact that all rifling causes yaw, or a horizontal movement to the direction the rifling. While the yaw may actually be equivalent to a real firearm, since the projectile is at a slower velocity, it moves more over a shorter period of time, causing less accuracy.

@lukedillon1995 the biggest problem with rifling on this type of launcher is, unlike soft lead, the projectile may or may not engage the grooves of the rifling. This means you may get one shot that spins, and another that does not, or even yet, one that only partially has the full rifled spin force. This variable adds to inaccuracy. It really would not matter if the projectile or the barrel was rifled. IMHO rifling bullets is worse because you are working with a short band causing inconsistency.

You are incorrect. A bolt action rifle can be going away from you as long as the bolt has the firing pin in it. It dosent have to feed, such as single shot rifles.

It's sort of like how some firearms are said to fire from the open bolt position as opposed to the closed bolt position. Quite frankly I don't care what way it fires, I want one.
