@escort2dr Yea pretty much. We call them doorslammers here in the US as well especially at localized events. Promod is just a more specific name for a certain type of doorslammer. There are many types of door slammers in the US such as Promod, Outlaw Promod, ProStreet, Outlaw ProStreet, Nitro Coupe, 10.5 Outlaw, and Im sure Im probally leaving a couple out. It depends on what organization is sanctioning the event. Their are slightly defferent rules for each sanctioning body.
Black powder coated Trakstars w/ orange powdercoated beadlocks. Candy paint from Barney Squires, McAmis narrow body w/ pro stock wing AND my favorite D scoop.
I agree....I think this was one of the most incredible runs in the history of drag racing. A nitrous powered doorlsammer running 5.86 seconds at almost 244 Mph. Pretty serious stuff...I could watch this all day...
Thanks! It's a Sony HDR-SR12 and a cheap stabilizer ("cam caddie"). It has been replaced by the HDR-xr500v (and 520v) which is basically the same camera with a couple tweaks. Got it from Abe's of Maine (in Jersey).
Does anyone know if this Promod category is the same sort of thing as doorslammers is Australia?

i swear nhra should make a game for these outlaw classes
were you could build your own 1/8 mile and 1/4 mile outlaw cars
i bet every drag racing fan would get
plus it'll be different from the norm of just the classes they show on t.v.

@jay89allday I've looked for an email address at EA Sports to suggest it. I'm sure there will never be one, but we can always pray.

There are several dragracing games. Both Nhra & Ihra has made some but the Ihra games suck megacock. Promods are doing 5.20´s....
