Uh, I just watched Jindal's speech. Kinda hard to argue with spending money you don't have to aggrandize Federal power, provide pet projects to your powerful allies, and try and force us into an oh-so-efficient health plan like the UK's. Wait a minute, that's right, the 1.6T estimated for that was not included in the 10T proposed new debt. As for Bush, it was 4T not 5T so Obama as of today is only proposing to triple that. But so what about Bush? How does that answer my question? It don't.

Conservatives are the ones that control lives, trying to stomp out the rights of gay people, limit scientific research, and crush unions. Liberals pretty generally advocate personal freedom, (decriminalizing marijuana, civil rights, etc) Liberals do try and control businesses though, so really libertarian is the only logical alternative :)

Im from Louisiana and don't let the media fool you. Bobby Jindel worked his ass off for Katrina and for hurricane Gustave. He is doing a great job as governor for us here. He may have a bad interview, but don't judge him on that. Judge him on his work as we do here and you will find a man that has potential to be president.
