Really fun! I saw Sha-Na-Na in Indianapolis in 1979, a really great preformance act. Dr. Hook was the warm-up; a group that was more well-known in Europe where I come from, than Sha-Na-Na ever was(!)
One small correction; The Diamonds were covering (mostly) colored group's songs. The Gladiolas were first out with "Little Darling", written by group member Maurice Williams (later with the Zodiacs) in 1957, shortly before the Diamonds made their version. ;-)
