Just heard that stupid "Lovely Rachel .." webex commercial (AGAIN) and decided to check for alternatives, of which there is (obviously) plenty, including crossloop. Thanks for this demo. I only wish you'd show how Joe is actually doing something on your computer.
Anyway, here is the FEATURE REQUEST:
The viewer (regardless of whether (s)he has the control or not) needs to have some kind of a pointer, so that things can be pointed on the computer of user who is showing the desktop.
Can you do like anything on the remote computer that you could normally do on your own computer. ex. downloading files/programs and running programs, etc.. thanks btw for the tutorial.
Fantastic - only thing to keep in mind is that this video has an old UI. The only relevant change is that the "JOIN" and "HOST" tabs are now replaced by the terms "ACCESS" and "SHARE"
Is it by phone only when you communicate when talking or can you also talk through a microphone? I'm trying to find a free desktop share that has this kind of facility.
I can't do anything on my friends computer but he can do things on his. Like I am watching him on his computer.

Whatever you wish - phone, computer, VoIP, chat etc - the software only shares desktops.

How quick do it send files, like, how long time does it take to send,a 10mb file? I have 10mbit Dowload and upload.
kaare1992 4 years ago
It should be very very fast - its hard for me to give you a specific time since it depends on a lot of variables that we are not aware of.

That is a great tool.
is there a limit in sharing files?
kiropoldoro 4 years ago
Thanks.
Nope - there is NO limit in file size, number of files or number of folders.
Enjoy and support us by telling everyone about it :)
