  • beautiful really great shafts so there is no

  • kobayashi played with button i mean that looks so easy for him =O

  • FIA should revise the rulebook regarding DRS wings, all f1 drivers now depend on it to overtake opponents. A true f1 driver doesn't depend on driving aids or assists, it takes true skill to be one.

  • @jmrc021292 well shumy almost never overtakes with drs and is still leading the overtaking statistics. I also like Kobayashi when it comes to overtaking in a corner.

  • without drs!!!

  • i miss kubica he is one hell of a driver!!!

  • @joao790 He'll be back next season :)

  • His was my first ever f1 gp that I watched it's special to me

  • Chandhok!

  • And there it was, for everyone of us to behold.. The beginning of Red Bull's Dominance!

  • I heard the commentator say something about button being world champion, how does he know if the race is not over?

  • @liamjames9 He was crowned champion the previous race in Brazil

  • The cars look like shit ,i hate the new design.

  • I must agree, that Kamui have a lot of skills! GO GO GO!:)

  • who's that english commentator,he's awesome!and is the other chandok?sounds like him.

  • @SennaRaikonnenF1Era steve slater and karun chandock. these are asian broadcaster

  • Comment removed

  • @SennaRaikonnenF1Era I think that's the Calcutta guy? Calcutta, I ama taxi driver in Calcutta, I am a taxi driver man!

  • This commentator should commentate on the BBC instead of Jonathan Ledgard

  • Is that Chandok commentating?

  • hahahaahaha take this alo=nso you mother fucker hahahaha

  • @lerry1234 haha hamiltowned

  • @carloosvg HAHAHA LOL MAN

  • Gosh, wish the BMW team had survived the world crisis! What a good looking car!

  • hes spun it, the answers no!

  • Look at that... Button lost 2 position-battles... and this guy should be a worldchampion?

  • @Schwax Ever heard of consistency? A World Champion is the one with the best positions each race. Not the one that wins the most. Current point system sucks and doesn't reflect any driving skills.

  • f1 races just dont even compare to a moto gp race, in terms of entertainment and excitement

  • @theodorbrinch I know they are so much more entertaining.

  • This is from Star Sports last year with Steve Slater and Karun Chandhok last year.

They are based in Singapore and are the F1 broadcasters for most of the SE Asian Region.

  • Buemi, what a disgusting piece of driving (1:47)

  • @MotorsportMonster looks like Buemi copied the Kobayashi vs. Raikkonen fight but ended dirty, lol.

  • @Arai4lpinestars Obviously.

  • I know it's Chandhok doing some of the commentary but what country is it from? Australia? Because it isn't from Britain unless it is from the radio because I am English.

  • Kobayashi really made his mark here, he's a breath of fresh air in Formula 1 and I'm hoping he's around for a long time.

  • Kobayashi.. what a racer!! ..He will win a championship someday

  • Great finish to the race, would love button or webber to win championship this year, mainly button.

  • bmw doesn't do f1 anymore?

  • @assman12354 well it's now BMW Sauber, but I always count the team as that, even in 2009 I still called it BMW Sauber

  • @assman12354 Sauber have to continue to use the BMW name until the contract with them runs out. But no BMW no longer supply engines in F1. Maybe they'll come back one day with Toyota and Honda.

  • this track is awsome. it has a unique atmosphere.

  • was that chandock commentating?

  • @tornadoGT01 Yup

  • @tornadoGT01 yes

  • @tornadoGT01 Yeah I think, im confused as to what tv network this is from ?

  • great last lap with Jenson and Webber!

  • Did he call him Robert Barrichello? :D

  • Kamui Kobayashi

The Force is strong in this one!

  • WoW, This cars realy look like shit...

  • GO KOBAYASHI! Formula 1's best rookie.

  • i love the commentary, he is so enthousiastic xD

  • I'm usually a Mark Webber guy but Kubicas been my favorite this year.

  • Im so happy shumakers back and so is mercedes yeahhhhhhhh

  • lol chanduk is funny

  • Just listen to those v8 engines resonating of the grandstands.

  • Keep your eye on that Kobayashi dude,he could be the first Japanese F1 Champion in the making! He really caught my eye last year and I´ll bet I wasn´t the only one!

  • sebastian vettel is much better than kobayashi and vettel is much better than fernando alonso and lewis hamilton too. he can also win against michael scumacher because vettel is the biggest and youngest talent i have ever seen.

  • "because vettel is the biggest and youngest talent I have ever seen" Really is that why? who are you? when was the last time vettel raced Lewis and Alonso heads up in equal equipment? He has only won from pole and I yet see him race mano y mano with hamilton, Alonso or schumacher. we'll see.

  • vettel is better than hamilton because he win with an RBR and this car is normal not very good if he sit in a mclaren or ferrari or mercedes GP he will win against all drivers!!!!

  • Yes no doubt that Sebastian Vettel is the biggest and greatest young talent in F1!No question about it! I´m a huge fan of Vettel but I was just saying that Kobayashi was pretty good too last season but he can´t be compared to Vettel of course!Sebastian Vettel is a future multiple World Champion that´s for sure if he gets the equipment he deserves!

  • in this video you can see that button is a bad driver because he lose against an toyota(kamui kobayashi) and an toyota is an more worst car then the Brawn GP. the brawn gp was the best last year and toyota i think 5th ort 4th best car.

  • Yeah I know!Button is the worst World Champion ever,he just got very lucky that Brawn GP was such a superior car last year!Button is total crap!

  • @Playster3

lol, the only reason Vettel is any good is because of the money, he is a shining example about how F1 is about money more than anything else.

  • @SuperColossal33 You´re total idiot!But you already know that don´t you!?

  • @Playster3 The only idiots are people who think F1 is about skill and not money. It hasn't been that way since the 70's.

Good driving + Money = Schumacher 10 years ago, look at Schumacher this year, he's not on the top team and his skill can't make up for it.

Vettel couldn't make an overtake to save his life but he is on the team with the most money, so of course he will go fast.

  • @SuperColossal33 Yeah sure whatever man!

  • @SuperColossal33 no, Playster is bang on - you're an idiot.

Are you suggesting that Schumacher, at Ferrari, one of the richest, most prestigious racing brands in the world, had LESS money behind him than the guys at Redbull? Schuey isn't at the top because he's old, is used to using as much fuel and tyres as he likes to win, and isn't used to racing a car that isn't built by the best mechanics the world can offer. He'll get back up there, but Vettel has no skill? Get a grip on reality.

  • @doverboy01 what? i think you need reading comprehension lessons.

  • @SuperColossal33 let me think. Nope, all good this end. You struggling to understand my retort? It's very basic, have another go, you'll get it in the end.

  • @SuperColossal33

you realize Schumacher is driving for Mercedes now?

  • @SuperColossal33 you realise he used to drive for Ferrari, don't you

  • @doverboy01 and he used to be competitive with Ferrari, because they had tons of money, now he is not so competitive with Mercedes GP because they don't have a fraction of the money.

  • @SuperColossal33 nothing to do with the fact he might have been out of the game too long, is getting on a bit now and Vettel is the new young driver on the scene? Oh no, hang on, it's the money isn't it.

  • @doverboy01 what does vettel have to do with schumacher?

  • @SuperColossal33 money is not everything! were it honda or toyota?.. i don't remember, but one of them had one of the largest budgets in F1 and they still couldn't really manage anything. It has more to do with the creativity of the design team. Schumacher is one of the greatest drivers in F1, but his comeback has clearly been a disappointment. But then again if Merc had more money they probably could develop their car more, but look at McLaren. They develop a lot it just don't work properly.

  • @dude2106 yes that's true but it is not the way it used to be.

In the late 70's early 80's Gilles Villeneuve was able to win with a car worse compared to the rest of the field than what Schumacher is racing right now. We don't get that anymore, there will be exceptions but in general money is what gets you the chance to win, without money you dont even have that chance.

I long to see another "villeneuve vs arnoux" duel, that was the greatest moment of F1 history.

  • @SuperColossal33 Yeah that is true, but the difference is that at that time the aerodynamics of the cars were not as complicated, where today the Red Bull is 100% reliant on aerodynamic downforce, and that means that when they get up behind another driver they just loose so much momentum because of the air turbulence from the car in front. And that is probably also why the McLaren is better to overtake, simply because it don't get affected as much.

But yeah the cars means a very much today.

  • @dude2106 Yeah that's true, but back then the cars had 1500 horsepower and H pattern shifters, it was more about the driver ;)

  • @SuperColossal33 Yeah possibly, and balls of steel. But i think what is the problem is that the cars are so good, that you can't claim half a second if you do these famous Senna banzai qualifying laps. The cars are too stable and too controllable that the great drivers cant really show what they are made of. The driver were more involved back then, but the rule changes seem to have worked, because the top five in the WDC is separated by just 20 points. That is very tight and exiting.

  • LOL! you're an IT/videogame buff! what would you know? i doubt you've ever even driven a high powered go kart let alone an F1 car...

people who bang on about F1 saying, "oooooh, it was so much better in the 70s and 80s" are nothing but armchair, couch potato judges who need to have a reality check...

  • @FormulaOneFan4Eva yeah someone who dedicates a youtube channel to fanboyism obviously knows more than anyone else.

  • lol, fanboyism... call me what you want, you still have no idea what you're talking about...

i don't care if you consider me a fanboy... at least that means i have a good insight as opposed to you, mr. "i can lap indianapolis quicker than you... ...on xbox"

have fun with your joysticks and buttons and whinge about how you haven't an ounce of talent in comparison to an actual F1 driver...

  • @FormulaOneFan4Eva

actually it's iRacing which is used by F1, NASCAR, INDY and dozens/hundreds of other pro drivers as a training tool, but whatever.

Do you have an ounce of talent compared to an actual F1 driver? What makes your opinion so right, Mr. Righteous?

  • there's no substitute for experience and F1 drivers can't be developed on videogames... they would merely use videogames to familiarise themselves with a track layout and very basic principles of race driving...

and no, i'm no where near as good as an F1 driver but i have contested for regional kart titles in the rotax heavy division and i've won races... i have an understanding of the talent required for higher categories and believe me, only the best will be sifted into single seaters...

  • ...people will say, "ooooh, it's money driven" and yes, that's true... if you don't have money, you won't get far but if you don't have talent, you'll barely get started...

i'd estimate that even though some of the more talented ones miss out on F1 due to lack of funding, the ones that do still would still be in the 99th quartile in terms of talent...

so to say, "F1 drivers have no talent" demonstates that you haven't any idea what you're on about...

  • @FormulaOneFan4Eva i never said they didnt have talent, i said money is as important as talent, hence schumacher no longer being competitive with Mercedes, while he was the best with Ferrari.

  • it's always been that way... it was still 90% car even back in the 50s...

besides, schumacher is 41 years old, is not at peak fitness, is having to come to grips with a sport that is a such a stark contrast to the one he retired and had a 3 year absense from...

not to mension he beat rosberg in spain, monaco and turkey and is only going to get more competitive as the season wears on... if you had any racing experience, you'd know this...

  • @FormulaOneFan4Eva

"not to mension he beat rosberg in spain, monaco and turkey and is only going to get more competitive as the season wears on... if you had any racing experience, you'd know this..."

    hahaha, thanks for the convo.

  • @FormulaOneFan4Eva oh and Mr. Villeneuve disagrees with the first part of your comment.

  • pfft, jacques villeneuve is the epitome of what an f1 shouldn't be...

very talented but his application to the job was very sub-par... he learned a track layout on playstation, yes... but he never won a single race in the final 9 years of his career, is that telling you something?

i think close to all f1 drivers use racing simulators but time spent in a simulator is just a garnish for time spent on the track - helpful but incomplete...

  • @FormulaOneFan4Eva

i was talking about Gilles Villeneuve fool, one of the top 3 F1 drivers ever, and the only one ever to consistenly be competitive and win races with a car that should have been finishing in the bottom 5 of every race.

  • sorry, we were talking about videogames and jacques was an avid videogamer... i think my confusion is understandable, no need to call me a fool and give a patronising history lesson...

but no, the worst car gilles ever drove apart from the 1977 mclaren was the ferrari 312T5 and that was not a bottom 5 car...

and there were other drivers who were able to consistently be competitive with slower cars; senna, clark, schumacher, prost, stewart, alonso and mansell all spring to mind...

  • @FormulaOneFan4Eva thats true lol, Villeneuve is on iRacing ;)

  • @SuperColossal33 As far as I know, the majority of F1 teams use rFactor "Pro" for their simulators.

  • @ROONTANG yeah that's true for their actual sims, but there are a few F1 teams registered on iRacing that play for fun (there isn't an F1 car in iRacing yet, but they are currently scanning/engineering a Williams FW31).

However there are about 12 active INDY drivers and over 20 active NASCAR drivers from Sprint/Nationwide that use it regularly. As well iRacing booths have been set up at Grand Am Rolex races for training when there is no track time.

  • Kobayashi is the man. I hope he will do well this year.

  • That was Hamiltons race!!

  • No it wasn't, Vettel had already got him before Hamilton had his problems and Webber was closing on him too. The McLaren was fast over 1 lap but over a race distance it faultered.

  • Ii believe hamilton pulled out a 3 second lead then experinced brake failure. Vettel never passed him on the circuit either. and race distance... The mclaren never completed the race so how do you know? The mclaren was just as fast as the frontrunners by this time in the season. At least lewis was. maybe you are talking about Kovailainen

  • Sorry mate but i agree with spec, hamilton never pulled out a sizeable lead, and hamilton was overtaken by Vettel in the pitstops because hamiltons lead was so small. As to his remark about race distance and one lap pace, i think he was refering to the difference in pace between Qualifying and the Race.

  • That race was amzaing 2 bad i flew outside Abu Dhabi on the same day =( 2 go 2 brisbane

  • mejor que sebastian bourdais terminara la temporada 2009 y no estoy en contra de algersuari pero le falta un poko de experiencia es injusto que sacaran a bourdais de toro rosso

  • circuito del minghia

  • Alguersuari was the best in Vettels box :D:D

and the end the fight between Webber and Button was really great! thx for vid!

  • ferrari gonna pwn next year :)

  • alonso and massa will be very hard to touch.

but then there's vettel and webber, and button and hamilton.

haha damn this season is gonna be amazing.

  • hahah ehck yea the problem is tho is taht im in amarica AND THEY DONT AIR THE RACES well teh belgiam grnd prix :(

  • i'm in america too.

they air the friday and saturday qualifying and of course the race on speed tv, but it usually is on very early in the a.m. (like between 1 - 4am).

  • ohhhhhhhhh that sux and not to metion i also dnt have spped :(

  • no button isnt a good driver he hasonly luck with his car. ross brawn has build the best car in 2009. but button isnt good enough the defend his title 2010 will be good: niko rosberg, michael schumacher, sebastian vettel, felipe massa , fernando alonso and lewis hamilton.

  • i'll agree, button wont do so well in defending his title. he'll put up a fight of course, but i dont think he'll do a back to back.

its gonna be really close between massa, vettel, alonso, and schumacher, thats for sure.

  • you have forgotten 1 driver nico rosberg he is also good but he has 45 points 2009 in an williams and this car is one of the worst f1 cars. in an mercedes GP he can drive with the best drivers

  • the williams FW31 was one of the most reliable cars, it just wasnt as fast as say the brawns or red bulls.

but ur right, this year rosberg will be much better being in a mercedes

  • the fw31 was more worse than a red bull, brawn gp, ferrari and mclaren.

  • because the double diffuser didnt work out well for them and the car just wasn't as quick as the brawns or red bulls.

  • @WN427 bullshit webber has got a shot. everyone always leaves him out but why? that last lap of abu dhabi PROVES hes a great driver with alot of experience.

  • OMFG steve slater is soooo bad.

  • Awesome kobayashi, great job in Abu Dhabi.

  • Awesome kobayashi, the best rookie of the season, at least i think so...

  • the best by far.

buemi, alguersuari, grosjean, and badoer who has more experience in F1 then the rest of them was much worse.

kobayashi was such a surprise and did a brilliant job.

  • Good start for robert, then he fucked up everything else! like usual

  • That fight would have been much more intense if it was for the world championship...

  • The Pit Exits looks cool..Its one of a kind..

  • wats wrong with alguersari?i didnt understand at 1:07...he took wrong place?

  • Alguersari was entering the wrong box. he made his stop with Red Bull and not with Torro Rosso.. that was the pro. The guess of Red Bull where waiting for Vettel...

Jenson had to take the inside of the turn.. But he reallu pushed hard

  • Yeah, too bad for Kobayashi, that Toyota's out next season..really great drive for him, here in Abu Dhabi..

  • lol for the pits of red bull.................crime for the button in the best hightlight who try to drive on the webber crime crime crime.

    button button button

  • great job editing, i loved how toyota overtook brawn, great job!

  • boring until last lap with weber and button

  • fantastic gp

  • Wow, great fights in there... Kobayashi is fearless!
