FIA should revise the rulebook regarding DRS wings, all f1 drivers now depend on it to overtake opponents. A true f1 driver doesn't depend on driving aids or assists, it takes true skill to be one.
@jmrc021292 well shumy almost never overtakes with drs and is still leading the overtaking statistics. I also like Kobayashi when it comes to overtaking in a corner.
@Schwax Ever heard of consistency? A World Champion is the one with the best positions each race. Not the one that wins the most. Current point system sucks and doesn't reflect any driving skills.
I know it's Chandhok doing some of the commentary but what country is it from? Australia? Because it isn't from Britain unless it is from the radio because I am English.
@assman12354 Sauber have to continue to use the BMW name until the contract with them runs out. But no BMW no longer supply engines in F1. Maybe they'll come back one day with Toyota and Honda.
Keep your eye on that Kobayashi dude,he could be the first Japanese F1 Champion in the making! He really caught my eye last year and I´ll bet I wasn´t the only one!
sebastian vettel is much better than kobayashi and vettel is much better than fernando alonso and lewis hamilton too. he can also win against michael scumacher because vettel is the biggest and youngest talent i have ever seen.
"because vettel is the biggest and youngest talent I have ever seen" Really is that why? who are you? when was the last time vettel raced Lewis and Alonso heads up in equal equipment? He has only won from pole and I yet see him race mano y mano with hamilton, Alonso or schumacher. we'll see.
vettel is better than hamilton because he win with an RBR and this car is normal not very good if he sit in a mclaren or ferrari or mercedes GP he will win against all drivers!!!!
Yes no doubt that Sebastian Vettel is the biggest and greatest young talent in F1!No question about it! I´m a huge fan of Vettel but I was just saying that Kobayashi was pretty good too last season but he can´t be compared to Vettel of course!Sebastian Vettel is a future multiple World Champion that´s for sure if he gets the equipment he deserves!
in this video you can see that button is a bad driver because he lose against an toyota(kamui kobayashi) and an toyota is an more worst car then the Brawn GP. the brawn gp was the best last year and toyota i think 5th ort 4th best car.
Are you suggesting that Schumacher, at Ferrari, one of the richest, most prestigious racing brands in the world, had LESS money behind him than the guys at Redbull? Schuey isn't at the top because he's old, is used to using as much fuel and tyres as he likes to win, and isn't used to racing a car that isn't built by the best mechanics the world can offer. He'll get back up there, but Vettel has no skill? Get a grip on reality.
@SuperColossal33 let me think. Nope, all good this end. You struggling to understand my retort? It's very basic, have another go, you'll get it in the end.
@doverboy01 and he used to be competitive with Ferrari, because they had tons of money, now he is not so competitive with Mercedes GP because they don't have a fraction of the money.
@SuperColossal33 nothing to do with the fact he might have been out of the game too long, is getting on a bit now and Vettel is the new young driver on the scene? Oh no, hang on, it's the money isn't it.
@SuperColossal33 money is not everything! were it honda or toyota?.. i don't remember, but one of them had one of the largest budgets in F1 and they still couldn't really manage anything. It has more to do with the creativity of the design team. Schumacher is one of the greatest drivers in F1, but his comeback has clearly been a disappointment. But then again if Merc had more money they probably could develop their car more, but look at McLaren. They develop a lot it just don't work properly.
@dude2106 yes that's true but it is not the way it used to be.
In the late 70's early 80's Gilles Villeneuve was able to win with a car worse compared to the rest of the field than what Schumacher is racing right now. We don't get that anymore, there will be exceptions but in general money is what gets you the chance to win, without money you dont even have that chance.
I long to see another "villeneuve vs arnoux" duel, that was the greatest moment of F1 history.
@SuperColossal33 Yeah that is true, but the difference is that at that time the aerodynamics of the cars were not as complicated, where today the Red Bull is 100% reliant on aerodynamic downforce, and that means that when they get up behind another driver they just loose so much momentum because of the air turbulence from the car in front. And that is probably also why the McLaren is better to overtake, simply because it don't get affected as much.
@SuperColossal33 Yeah possibly, and balls of steel. But i think what is the problem is that the cars are so good, that you can't claim half a second if you do these famous Senna banzai qualifying laps. The cars are too stable and too controllable that the great drivers cant really show what they are made of. The driver were more involved back then, but the rule changes seem to have worked, because the top five in the WDC is separated by just 20 points. That is very tight and exiting.

@FormulaOneFan4Eva i never said they didnt have talent, i said money is as important as talent, hence schumacher no longer being competitive with Mercedes, while he was the best with Ferrari.

@WN427 bullshit webber has got a shot. everyone always leaves him out but why? that last lap of abu dhabi PROVES hes a great driver with alot of experience.

no button isnt a good driver he hasonly luck with his car. ross brawn has build the best car in 2009. but button isnt good enough the defend his title 2010 will be good: niko rosberg, michael schumacher, sebastian vettel, felipe massa , fernando alonso and lewis hamilton.
agaz12 1 year ago
i'll agree, button wont do so well in defending his title. he'll put up a fight of course, but i dont think he'll do a back to back.
its gonna be really close between massa, vettel, alonso, and schumacher, thats for sure.
WN427 1 year ago
you have forgotten 1 driver nico rosberg he is also good but he has 45 points 2009 in an williams and this car is one of the worst f1 cars. in an mercedes GP he can drive with the best drivers
agaz12 1 year ago
the williams FW31 was one of the most reliable cars, it just wasnt as fast as say the brawns or red bulls.
but ur right, this year rosberg will be much better being in a mercedes
WN427 1 year ago
the fw31 was more worse than a red bull, brawn gp, ferrari and mclaren.
agaz12 1 year ago
because the double diffuser didnt work out well for them and the car just wasn't as quick as the brawns or red bulls.

@WN427 bullshit webber has got a shot. everyone always leaves him out but why? that last lap of abu dhabi PROVES hes a great driver with alot of experience.

Awesome kobayashi, the best rookie of the season, at least i think so...
FarizYahya 2 years ago
the best by far.
buemi, alguersuari, grosjean, and badoer who has more experience in F1 then the rest of them was much worse.
kobayashi was such a surprise and did a brilliant job.

wats wrong with alguersari?i didnt understand at 1:07...he took wrong place?
F12009Team 2 years ago 2
Alguersari was entering the wrong box. he made his stop with Red Bull and not with Torro Rosso.. that was the pro. The guess of Red Bull where waiting for Vettel...
Jenson had to take the inside of the turn.. But he reallu pushed hard
