I think I have seen that interview, If I am not wrong it was Salma mother who converted to islam, not father. Her father is from Pathan family, Mother was Raj kapoor first cousin. Izhar Qazi was verstyle, talented actor, he died in 2007 with sudden heart attack at age of 51.
