this game looks a lot better then wow mainly because u don't get the same gear as everyone else does everyone starts to look the same and it gets boring here u create w/e u want for a hero wut powers u want and so on on WoW u choose from 10 classes... and for customization u only get to start out with wut their skin and other features look like... thus i would choose this game over WoW.

there've been dungeons announced, dr. destroyer's missile base, for example...I don't know the TOTAL number of dungeons mind you... but there are instances, so good stuff! :)

Everyone in wow looks the same. Fighting against specific classes use the same tactics over and over.

CO is classless and the variety of character options is beyond outstanding.

It has appeal because it's not another "vanilla" MMO where all you do is fight elves and dragons. You get to build the character you want to play and the way you want to look...you definitely can't get that from WoW.

There are so many we don't know them exactly. All i know is there will be a tunneling travel power, ice slide, flying, super speed, super jump, teleport and grapple hook AKA swinging

The Powers will be fire, ice, electricity, guns, gadgets, sorcery etc.

I have the Champions online Beta and i alos on both CoH and CoV, and i must say that after playing Champions, I wont ever go back to CoX. Dont judge the game from low quility videos.

Watch all the gameplay demo videos and read up on the forums before you make this judgement. I admit, the graphic and animation style is similar, but the gameplay is vastly improved and way more hack and slash than typical MMORPG watch and wait gameplay.

To be honest it looks a real step backwards from CoX, it seems like there's gonna be a heck of a lot of solo play in this game thanks to the fact that characters will be self-sufficient due to their ability to pick from various roles. Potentially one could have a survivable DPSer. We already saw Cryptic make a similar mistake on CoV by making MMs entirely self-sufficient and it killed teaming and thus the game ended up far inferior. Easy teaming is one of the best things about CoX and it's gone.

MMOs should be all about constant teaming with other players. The only way to achieve this is to make sure that all missions in the game scale to fit the team and that there's no quest eligibility issues. This is achieved perfectly on CoX alone. No other MMO I've played has managed it and that's because nearly all MMOs have taken the 'open world' approach CO is taking. With no instanced scalable missions and fixed quests teaming become impossible once again.

Yeah I have played it. I really hated it. I thought the fluidity of CoX - the sexy animations at whatnot - just failed in CO. Creating our own powersets means there's no synergy between powers. It also lagged hideously on my PC which is a joke considering my specs. There was also no teaming.

That's not an excuse. I played the LotRO beta and it was flawless. I do not doubt the beta will be an accurate representation of the finished product and do not doubt the finished product will be just as boring as the beta. But whatever, clearly honest opinions of the game are not wanted (as the large numbers of thumbs down on my comments proves), but four of my friends have now been in the beta too and all have the exact same opinion: It's bad.

That's a ridiculous statement. The amount of areas won't make the mmo good if its mechanics are bad (which I think they are) unless one of the areas is the magical 'make this a better game' area. The game's animations just look ugly, it runs badly and its battles just lack the epicness of CoX's battles.

I never solo in any other MMOs so I dont know what you are talking about. It may be "easier" for you to team up in CoX, but it is in no way impossible in other MMOs.
