  • I never honestly used shake, it didn't stick with me. I find that I only use smash up to maximize and smash to the side to make it use half the screen. You guys should rip off expose though it's reaaally handy. Windows 8 perhaps?

  • This ad had horrible effects :O what in the world are you using??? Movie maker?

  • does aero shake replaces shortcut key windows logo + M?

  • @StickersAreAdhesive Nope, that shortcut is still supported. Minimize away!

  • okay... haha...

  • I wish that Shake feature could do something similar to the mess in my apartment... (*rattlerattlerattle -- POOF! clean living room*)

  • yay!! windows 7 is out!!! i can't wait to try it! =D

  • How fast do I have to shake to make this function have a point?

  • The shake is really quick and will become natural after you use it. I'd try it out and for yourself to see if it's going to be a useful feature for you.

  • it took me a while to see that aero shake feature and i get it. Its pretty useful. I think the best things about windows 7 are the ssplit screening of windows and i like that the taskbar shows a program and all activity when u scroll over it. I can't wait for Directx11 graphics because my laptop is great for gaming.

  • Qatch my aero shake video to see

  • Check out my aero shake video and see

  • wow, really "useful"

  • windows 7 have pretty fun commercials.. :D

  • Nice. If you dont like it then use your own method. CHANGE PEOPLE!!!!

  • I always wondered, why they just can't make an extra button next to the close, minimize, and restore buttons that does the same function. Why shake?

  • Why are you advertising an old feature?

  • Well....well...like...i can shake a window and hold down alt+command+h on my mac at the same time and it does the same thing! ha! (lol)

  • why not just shake?

  • that is just too many keys to press.... See with windows its much easier. Life without walls my friend.......lol

  • Don't know where they got all those keys from...its just F9 on a mac and it will show you all the windows that are open, then just select which one you want. On top of that Mac has spaces, multiple windows, not taking up your screen space that you can switch between easily.

  • Stop comparing windows to a mac, it's like me comparing U2 to the beatles.

  • I'm not trying to argue about it, I'm just saying. And I'm not going to argue about this but in my opinion, the winner between the bands is The Beatles

  • Haha okay you win there ;)

  • @GoldfishFilms

Why not compare Mac to Windows? Clearly they have similarities and they are the two most common operating systems. If I am about to purchase a system, I definitely want to see the pros and cons of both so I can make a better informed decision. :/

  • lol on Microsoft Ads aero is not enabled. Why??

  • Because they don't wanna disappoint people who will be using Starter edition what has only classic theme :D

  • Ehh Im using W7 RC right now, and to be honest, this aero shake sucks. I need to shake the window very fast almost making a pain in my palm to make it work... I hope they fixed that in RTM. A.S. simply requires way too much shaking to notice a shake.

  • You need to drag window 3 times , sometimes 5to7 from side to side , quite big delay, I rather click show desktop and open my desired Window

  • doing it wrong

  • Ahh, just use Windows key + tab

  • regardless of what you think of the software the commercial was well done

  • It seems like a lot of work to have to shake a window. I'd rather just have a shortcut button.... like Windows+D

  • I can detect a little error in the video. 1st, when you shake a window, it don't go behind the "shaked window", it goes to the SuperBar/TaskBar. 2nd It looks like Aero is not enabled in the Laptop.

  • I think aero shake is more intresting in touchscreen aahahhaa

  • I gotta get this.

  • i have windows7 Ultimate but don't know hou to turn it on :S

  • @4BRANDON4USX4 Aero shake is on by defult. Just shake a window and all other window goes away.

  • i've got windows 7 but it doesnt work :/ its ultimate too so idk

  • It doesn't matter if it was Ultimate or not.

    Why's it not working?

What does it do or say?

  • ... the aero shake works lol but the american football player thing didnt work lol

  • lol It's funny how people think apple did it first...

I didn't actually use Aero Shake... I but I do use Aero snap heavily.

  • sad

  • Cool video but didn't apple already do this?

  • actually they don't

  • are you sure, when i go up to the menu bar and select hide others it makes all other apps disappear and when i press show all it brings them back like nothing happen.

  • When you have to press another button. With windpws 7 you shake the windows. That's a whole other thing. Sorry :P

  • Ok thats cool and i guess it could be quicker then pressing some buttons :)

But i find it funny that they do fundamentally the same thing :) and i don't remember vista or xp having the hide other feature until Windows 7 and i remember the Mac OS X has had it for awhile. but lets give credit where credit is due, Windows 7 did it somewhat better the Mac :)

  • its way better in the mac but it doesnt have the cluter feature its still better to see everything u have open.

  • What?! No, Apple' OS doesn't have an Aero Shake type feature
