i have the consol too... But i have virtual dj 5 and it s not really good... I have on my computeur traktor do you know if i can mix with traktor and the consol or if i can get a newer version of virtual dj???

I have the RMX too but can't get my Cue to work. I tried using ASIO but ableton wouldn't see it as a valid audio output... Any ideas?

@barneymcgoo You only need to configure it in midi section. I've got an english video explaining it, but having in mind that we DO need ASIO driver (as opposite to what I said in this video). Anyway, I'll make another video with further details.

@MatthiasJong Thanks. You'll need to set up your behringer with ableton live software. I've got a video explaining it. When you got it, you'll have to discover ableton live interface use, checking other videos or googling through forums. Good luck!

I'm picking up a Hercules RMX today, how do you feel about it? Pretty solid controller?

And where would I find the mappings for ableton?

@Bl4ck3n3D Yes, I really like it, a few years with her.

You don't need anything for Ableton, only use the midi-mapping button (ctrl-m), select a control in the screen and then move a physical control in the RMX.

I'm picking up a Hercules RMX today, what's your opinion on it? The only thing I can complain about it is the lack of effects control, but it seems you've been able to the map that out.

dime cual de todos eel progrma mas completo, Ableton o Tracktor?

Son dos cosas completamente diferentes! El Traktor o VDJ son para pinchar de la forma clásica, 2 pistas y con control de pitch bend; el Ableton es para actuar en directo, muchos más canales y de forma completamente sincronizada, bien creando música o remezclándola o bien mezclando tipo mashup, que es algo a medio camino entre ambos mundos. Espero haberme explicado. Y por cierto, el Ableton Live es el mejor en su mundo y el Traktor posiblemente también lo sea en el suyo.

En Thomann, y sí, los auriculares son esos y los compré también allí. De todas formas, en APP Informática está en torno a los 250€ y sin gastos de envío. La puedes tener en tu tienda en menos de una semana :)

Los auriculares no están en APP, pero no hace falta comprarlos en una web. Pásate por unas pocas tiendas de electrónica de consumo (Urende, Media Markt...) y píllate algo de entre 20 y 40 €, hay muchas cosas decentes (y orientados al DJing) sin necesidad de llegar a extremos profesionales...

Weeeeey DJChulooo, veo que le dedicaste las horas necesaria a la configuracion del Hercules con el Ableton, esta muy buena la creatividad! Yo ultimamente estoy usando el Traktor con el Hercules RMX, claro no es tan creativo como el Ableton pero entretiene. Saludos!!

Hola de nuevo! Oye cada vez me gusta mas el programita este... veo que lo dominas bien. ¿Cuánto tiempo llevas usándolo? Porque se te da de cojones, aunque no sea ésta mi música favorita (a ver si te marcas una sesión indie dance / nu disco con justice y similares jeje).

Leo por aquí en algún comentario que tu futura controladora será la VESTAX VCM-600. Supongo que la ves mas indicada para el Ableton Live ¿no?

Hola!

Pues llevo usándolo unos meses, aunque le he dedicado muy pocas horas. La VCM-600 está diseñada directamente para Ableton Live, luego ha de ir perfecta. Piensa que tiene 6 canales (aunque yo con la RMX consiga 8 pero no con tanta funcionalidad) en los cuales dispones de los 3 EQs + kill, el mute y el solo, balance, el play y stop con indicador visual de la cuantización y potenciómetros para control y envío de efectos...

La VCM-600 la tendré algún día aunque de momento extenderé mi equipo con otras cosas como un Trigger-Finger, un plato y un teclado MIDI...

very nice vid, I use the Reloop digital jockey 2, i find it much better than the hercules, costs the same but with much more possibilities etc.

try using traktor for dj'ing, I used to dj with vdj too but now I don't use anything but traktor anymore, try it on the demo version, you can still use your controller, and if you like it, buy ;D

The RMX is the cheapest way to do it, but for a better control try AKAI APC 40 or even better, my future controller: VESTAX VCM-600.

THE T.BONE TDJ-1000, very cheap, but useful. I think they're an imitation of one by Pioneer...

This is live remixing, not just djing. For classic djing, of course I use Virtual DJ.

But this is based in loops and samples, and maybe a whole tune for the base... It required a lot of channels and not just two of them, so you need another kind of software. It's a different concept.

Por supuesto, esa es la cosa!

Lo mejor es tenerlos "warpeados" antes (para que se guarden los cambios para siempre hay un botón save!) y luego "sólo" te preocupas de componer... Digo sólo porque no es poca cosa ^_^

Al principio hacía el warping sobre la marcha (como en mis primeros vídeos de Ableton) pero eso te quita tiempo para tu creatividad.
