@jihadacadien Central Texas will get down to freezing temps a few days a year. It actually snowed last winter, once. Christmas day temps can usually be in the 60's. LOL! Fine with me if I never have to shovel a driveway again. Fortunately, we can get 2 harvests a year. We are preparing our fall garden right now. Catch ya later!
@QuickGardens lol. lettuce bolting, refrigerator running, and the tomato trying to ketchup! We will try again. Is was a test area in our garden anyway. Win some, you lose some.
@CTgalinPA - we had a good time making it--what else are you gonna do? We're certainly not professionals, and want to make sure that our subscribers know that it's OK if things don't always work out as planned...
@TheSavvySwed It's always a disappointment when crops fail. But it happens. You just move on and look at them like nice ornamental landscaping plants.lol. We have lots of fun making the videos.
My rabbits and chickens both love bolted cabbage as well as the older cabbage leaves. Do you guys have rabbits?

The first time I heard about a lettuce bolting I thought maybe it ran away :)
Whats nice about growing is you can always replant.

I like the cabbage/teather ball. I would most likely use the inner greens as dolma (spelling?). You guys look like you have a lot of fun!
