Saw them in Gainesville, FL when they opened for the Mighty Mighty Bosstones in 94. They put on a great show... and I was standing behind Dicky from the Bosstones for the whole thing and didn't know it until he turned around to leave and get ready for their set, LOL.
@vargulv you are pathetic... and pay some respect... yo [2]
Guys, sorry for this brazilian dumbass! This fag called "vargulv" is a total ignorant. I am ashamed of idiots like this @vargulv. Don't know about scene, history from NY. I love bands from NY and i keep respect.

They were released in Brazil by Roadrunner Records. At the first spot I thought that they were Metal, but then I found out that they were just Gay... uahahhahaha... you guys should listen to Discharge, Disfear, Ratuus, that is how real hardcore is done! Just take a look at the singer, a fat dude with this mellow voice. It makes me just laugh how pathetic he is.
Yeah there was a good sountrack on that...with black train and supersuckers and a couple other good ones.....whenever I hear that stuff it takes me back to grade 10/11
OMG I have had this song stuck in my head for at least 15 years, and I never remembered the name, but I finally found it! I found it! the chorus is really catchy, and it was on a promo album that Taco Bell issued like in 1994 when i worked there, this is so awesome! I love this song!
You DEF wanna check out one of Ernie's bands, Grey Area. If you liked BTJ you'll love that... also he's in a new band called Higher Giant with one of the guys from Kid Dynamite. Ernie wrote much of the material for BTJ, and his influence is HEAVY in all the bands he plays with. I believe he also did something called the "Arsons" where he played guitar on early releases then switched to drums.. I think. Anyway, check that shit out if you liked BTJ... Ernie's a helluva nice guy.
"Goddammit that really sucks, I heard they went and signed for a million bucks. These bands have really gone too far, we know the kids at school know who they are. They play their songs on the radio, I even heard they went and shot a video. . ."
yeah! the 90's, a time of REAL music, raw, expressive, emotional, and made by humans! Back when ya grabbed the skateboard/surfboard/bmx and had fun...now I'm havin' fun rubbing icyhot on soremuscles, and proud to be GEN.X! Music nowadays is as real as "real imitation pastuerized processed cheese food". Now everything is so glossed over...man has built a coach and forgot the use of his feet, well, time to drive to the store ;)
YO! My old band played with these guys at Studio 1 in Newark! I saw them at William Paterson College with Easton and they tore it up. Great classic Hardcore!
oh shit, I used to listen both Black Train Jack albuns A LOT, that was just before I started smoking herb, drinking like an animal and listening to Brujeria and Discharge. Innocent, honest, perfect years... This song brings me lots of great memories...
I can't believe i stumbled upon this - I used to work with Ernie and Nick at Pink Coyote in NYC. It doesn't seem like so long ago but that was the mid 90's.
jeez, ive been looking for the name of that band and that song for about 10 years.. or more? I've made a copy of that song from a skate video and it had become a part of the soundtrack of my life. All those years i've been asking people if they know it, i've googled the lyrics and just a few days ago i was successful. I can't believe i've actually found it. Play that song on my burial!
I forget how it is I came across these guys. They may have opened for Fugazi back when, but a friend of mine had met them and hung out with them. Be nice to bring 'em back.
Oh good god! I remember this group! I went with 3 other members from the music department of St. John's U's WSJU to sing back up along with other college kids. There was an intern with Roadrunner, Kelso, who was a total hottie. I'll never forget her. She had a Bosstones tat on her right ankle. Flaming red spiky hair, knee high docs and a doctor who tshirt.
While everyone was outside waiting to go in, she was going about getting names and checking the list. She was standing next to me and I just leaned over and licked her tattoo.
we made out in one of the production studios later on that day. total goddamned animal.
